"Don't be surprised if EX POW Johnny McCain comes out and defends Kerry".

I would not be surprised, but it would not make any difference. There are far too many voices singing in the choir on this subject. Rooters, and AP have both carried it, and controversy will sell papers.

"The [North Vietnamese guards] were always talking about that [anti-war demonstrations], and they picked right up on Kerry's throw-away line, 'Don't be the last man to die in a lost cause,'"

First time I read Kerrys tag line.

One would think a glimpse would occur. What I think about the biased news is that they have really no affiliation with anything but making news and interesting times for the rest of us.Many of them would lead the Country into complete disaster just because it's exciting and sells news. They'll run it right up until their own butt is afire and then do stories about how Somebody Else should have prevented it.

Why is this man a Senator, much less running for President? Kerry has got to be the most anti-American presidential candidate ever.

You're a troll. Bush served his country; Kerry didn't. End of story.

My uncle came back and had nightmares of the treatment he got in the POW camps... He was a mess, he HATES fonda with a passion because of all the rhetoric she spewed and the viet-cong used to replay ALL hours of the night. As was much of the kerry testimony (which we know was all lies... is it too late to prosecute him for false testimony to congress?)

Would your poli-sci teacher consider the LA Times "legitimate"? Galanti's account is at:

http://www.latimes.com/la-na-vietnam17feb17,1,5556450.story

Also former Admiral, Senator and POW (7 years) Jeriamiah Denton's story is in the Mobile Register, at:

That's the question.

How to get out the truth about Kerry.

The RNC does not have the Cajones, (they only want moderate RINOS speaking in prime time), but IF they DID have balls, they would QUICK! get a decorated and famous former American POW from Vietnam Era, who in fact had heard the Kerry speeches in chains, and would have him give a rousing anti Kerry speech in PRIME TIME, PRECISELY because of that traitorous behavior by Kerry on behalf of the Communists.

I'll never see that day, though.

My Dad's a Vietnam vet, and is behind Kerry 100%. Even if this stuff is true and he was a young lying twerp, he was still committed to making his country a better place. Maybe he was misguided (ever know a 21-yr-old who wasn't?) but he was trying to make a difference.

What was Georgie up to in '71?

What does that show about who is more committed to the safety of fellow Americans

Just proves that intelligence is genetic. Some people are just born dumb.

My father's a vet (USMC), though luckily the closest he got to Viet Nam was Okinawa and Japan. He thinks Kerry should be shot for treason.

Hope you don't mind--me butting in but Katr's doing other threads now anyway. The "Truth" about j kerrey is not what his supporters are concerned with. It's about gaining and maintaining political power and paying off a lot debt. They are stuck on this guy or Mr.Ed or whatever they had to digest like glue. DeMonacrats.
