You are way off. It is not a question of if, but a question of when.

That's your opinion.

If you knew 2 people that did not practice any faith yet you find out one is of Jewish background and the other is gentile with no understanding of Christianity.

I'd take the Jew to a rabbi and send the Christian to a pastor.

They are apostate Jews. And to echo malakhi, it is for Jews to decide who is Jewish and who isn't.

I don't believe anotherview has any interest in learning about scripture from another perspective

Where did this "definition" come from? It obviously is NOT from the more ancient teachngs. Just because some Jews believe Jesus is the Messiah, why do YOU think you can declare them "not Jewish"? Isn't that for GOD to decide??

It's certainly not for you to decide.

Is the concept of "freedom of association" so difficult to understand? I could walk around claiming to be a Shriner. But if I haven't joined the organization according to their own rules, I'm not a member; I would be a fraud. The Shriners decide who they do, and do not, recognize as a fellow Shriner. The Kiwanis don't get to set the membership rules for Shriners. Muslims don't get to dictate who is or isn't a Catholic. And Christians don't decide who is or isn't a Jew.

I'm not trying to be rude, but, what gives any NON-JEW the right to decide who is Jewish?

You are Jewish if you are born to a Jewish mother or have a halachically correct conversion. Going to a 'seder' at your 'messianic shul' does not make you Jewish.

A Jew who meets the above requirements is Jewish. However, he or she ceases to be an observant Jew is he or she becomes Christian. He or she becomes an apostate.

In Hebrew, an apostate would be known as a meshumad, meaning one who has abandoned his or her faith. It could also be kofer, meaning a "denier" (of God, Torah, and Judaism) or min and apikorus which denote the "negation" of God and Judaism implying atheism

Interesting that lately there seem to be a great number of Christian FReepers who think they are going to get decide in-house matters for Jews.

I am sure all of these same folks would have a fit if Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, etc., were to do the same thing.

They'd also be screaming for Congress to pass a law if their children were targetted by proselytizers from a different religion.

But Jews are just supposed to bend over and take.

A case in point are the threads about Islam being taught in California public schools.

But Jews are just supposed to bend over and take.

A Chrisitian is anybody who beleives and accepts Jesus as the Messiah, if you don't believe in Jesus your not a christian bottom line.

A person that has no religion is not a Christian???
That's what you think a Chrisitian is?

Just because they don't have a Jewish mother and no religion you just assume that person would be a Christian?

That makes sense to you?

I would like some clarification about this. Messianic Jews would say they are still Jewish. They were born to a Jewish mother, and still believe in one God (the God of Abraham, Issaac, and Jacob). The original disciples didn't consider themselves not Jewish, nor did those around them. They still may follow certain Jewish laws (as much if not more than most conserative or reform Jews). In this case, what makes someone who thinks Jesus is the Messiah not Jewish? What about Jews who thought other people were the Messiah throughout history (like that Schneerson fellow, or whatever his name was?). Do Jews who start following Eastern religions like Taoism, Buddhism, or whatever, lose their status as Jews? What about agnostics who are Jewish? Is there some written acid test that makes believing in Jesus the defacto switch that turns off someone's Jewish status?

Jews do NOT proselytize. If a gentile wanted to speak to a rabbi, of course I'd direct him or her. Just know that no rabbi would put up with your badgering, missyme. Not for as long as any of us have. But I would never tell a gentile to go to a rabbi unsolicited.

That's the difference between our 2 religions, missyme. One believes in live and let live, the other has adherents that always must be in someone's face just begging to be told off.

It's been said about a million times, but wtf..let's go for one more:

They are apostate Jews. They have abandoned Torah and Talmud. Whether it be for Christianity, Buddhism, or atheism. They would not be able to make aliyah haTorah at shul.

Where did you get that idea? I'm not aware of any "messianic Jewish" groups that require potential converts to be Jewish.

Contempt for your beliefs.

As we see Europe turning away from GOD month by month years by year living a life totally agasint GOD's commandments, Anti-Semitism is growing at a all time high in Europe as we as the Muslim World.

Homosexuality is being embraced by endorsing marraiges to be legal or acknowledged by many houses of worship, do you think these people are Christians?

I think they are Un-Richetous Gentiles...

But as a Christian I believe it is my duty to give the un-saved a chance of eternal life. GOD has always wanted us to reach out to GODLESS people and introduce them to the PEACE, THE LOVE and THE FORGIVENESS that he offers for the GODLESS SINNERS that are abundant in out world.

If we could turn the Muslim World into Christians and Europe Israel and the USA would finally be able to live in PEACE with all there neighbors (Of course that won't happen)

Where did this "definition" come from?

I'll defer to the teachings of Rabbis on this matter (I'm not Jewish).

Just because some Jews believe Jesus is the Messiah, why do YOU think you can declare them "not Jewish"? Isn't that for GOD to decide??

True, it is up to God, in the end. However, since God hasn't clarified his position recently, I'll defer to the judgment of Rabbis who have spent their entire lives studying Jewish theology. What've you got on your side?
