NO he did not...That is what where were at right now.....

Huh? You agree with me that God and the Jews have a covenent, right? That covenent lays down certain rules, but those rules do not require the Jewish people to accept Jesus as their savior. Therefore, the requirements of salvation for Jews and Gentiles are different.

You could say gentiles would have the same fate as all the people that did not choose to get on NOAH's Ark...

IIRC, nobody except Noah and his family was given the choice to go on the Ark.

Anyway, that's not what I'm saying. For whatever reason, God has decided to give the Jews a different set of rules. You have some nerve to question that decision.

Or maybe GOD set a differnt standards for Homosexuals today than what he did to them at Soddom and Gommorah?

Are you comparing Jews to homosexuals now?

Your the one who says GOD is changing his mind through-out history

Ironically, you're the one who is doing that. God has not changed the rules for Jews and he has not changed the rules for Gentiles. He has just laid down different rules for each group. That is not changing his mind.

Wrong most people Lie, I am brutally honest, I said if I didn't let the spirit of GOD into my life then as a human being I could be filled or consumed with HATE many people can...I don't wish those things upon you but I don't put it past my self that I could feel that way if I I pushed GOD or prayer out of my life. It is prayer and GOD who makes me the person I am..

Sorry if you can't handle brutal honesty. Most people can't.

So, in a way, they "lured me in" using my loneliness as a tool.

"Love bombing" is a common tactic, as is targeting those who are emotionally vulnerable.

Intriguing, AV. So you truly would prefer to see your own children blown apart by bombs set by Hamas murderers than see them accept Jesus as their Savior?

The proper response to unwanted evangelism was recently enunciated by a prominent evangelist.

DROP DEAD, we don't want to pester anybody

"What is it about Jews defending Judaism that so discomfits some people?"

Acts 26:14
We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic,'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'

It doesn't discomfit me, but it appears to discomfit Jesus.

I am brutally honest

Okay, let me ask you then. Are you a member of -- or affiliated with (formally or informally) -- "Jews for Jesus" or any other "messianic" or missionary organization?

"You may not know this, but Jewish parents traditionally have gone into mourning when their children converted from Judaism to Christianity because to them it was like losing a child."

What you say is true but I wonder how they'd feel when they really lose their child to war or death of another means. This kind of attitude really minimizes true loss and is an insult to anyone who has lost a child (reality) vs. these emotional dramatics.

Can I ask you this weren't the Samaritans and the Nazarenes
and the leopors and the lonely and the hungry and the poor and the sick , prostitutes on Biblical Israel vulnreable?

Isn't that why Jesus came? For the Sinners? the helpless?
Do you think the Pharisees gave a dam about those folks hardly?

Why do you think so many people in Prison find GOD because it is there last resort before death, at sometime in your life people find JESUS why because he give hope and love and fogiveness to millions of people who need it...

I have no problem with people trying to convert adults, but they should leave children alone, and if you ask to be left alone, they should respect that.

Therein lies the problem. IMO, prostyelizing children is a reprehensible act, innate recognition of the weakness of their argument. Ongoing prostyelization, after being told to "DROP DEAD" (per my last post), clear evidence of disrespect for the targets beliefs.

It doesn't discomfit me, but it appears to discomfit Jesus.

I hardly know where to begin with this post. Suffice it to say that, since I don't recognize Acts as inspired scripture, the words of this vision quoted therein don't really matter to me.

I'll look forward to your input on the next 'America is a christian nation' thread.

What's your evidence that they didn't? Because your own sectarian texts say so?

The Torah and the Prophets have a lot to say about justice and the care for the poor, widows, orphans, etc.

The only help is going to come from the USA..

And why does it have conditions tied on it? Myabe Israel should conditionally be the ally of the U.S. then.

As an aside, since free drum lessons appear to be part of the spiritual draw, Hineni Ministries crossmarketed to musicians as Artists in Christian Testimony about the same time they began marketing as Jews for Jesus. I think the two

Saul was also defending Judaism, and in doing so was fighting against Christ Himself, not Christian proselytizers.
Fighting Christ Himself is a tough fight. Good luck.

Who are you to decide anything for anyone Jewish? Leaving one's faith or culture does make some parents go into mourning. I suppose you'd have a BBQ and kegger if one of your kids announced he or she was going Hare Krishna?

No not my texts...Do you have any info on the Nazarenes, or the Samaritans? Mariam or Mary Magdalene was an un-worthy dirty Jewish woman to the Pharisees, if you have any info that the Pharisees helped the people I mentioned earlier I would be happy to read it.....

Going after a child is disgusting. I am certain someone here will justify it.

To: malakhi; All

Malakhi,
poor, widows, orphans, etc. To be poor a widow or an orphan is not a sin.
JESUS came to help SINNERS along with others. It was rhe arrogant the holier than thou attitude people had.

What good is it if you only love the people that love you?
is what Jesus said? The challenge is when people hate you
when they want to persecute you turning there hearts from hate to love.

I do believe some Freeprs on this thread are totally incapable of understanding that concept.....
