The Democrats patriotism is phony like everything else about their party. If they are so united on 9/11 with the rest of America, it stands to reason they would welcome a tribute to it. Instead they shy away from it like Dracula from a cross. Methinks they doth protest too much when they wrap themselves in flag and country.

>Loudly proclaim the fact that Dims don't want to talk about 9/11<

Exactly! And I won't be surprised if they do. Dubya came out swinging after the DNC. I was really impressed with the fight in him in Cambridge, OH Saturday!

They don't want us to remember 9-11. They want us to forget it ever happened. Well, it did.

Turn up the volume and get the kleenex ready.

You don't keep insisting that you're patriotic unless there is some doubt that you are; and you don't plead for silence on one of the most momentous events in American history unless you have nothing effective to say about it.

This is exactly the line that jumped off the page at me...

Let me tell the Democrats something... I live 30 minutes from Ground Zero. My second cousin barely escaped before the collapse of the towers and my father lost many business friends at the WTC. As a New Yorker and as an American, I expect--no I demand--that the Republicans continue to remind the world of the tragedy of 9/11 and the need for a hawkish foreign policy in its wake.

As I heard a woman say two weeks ago at the WTC site: "Thank God Gore wasn't president when this happened, can you imagine?"

The right person to remind everyone of that day will be Rudy Giulliani.

Can you imagine da mayor standing before the convention recalling that day, the president's response, and what it meant to all of us? I dare the Dems to criticize it.

"Democrats are already urging them not to "politicize" the 9/11 attacks. It's not clear what would constitute politicization, but anything that reminds Americans that the perpetrator was Osama bin Laden and not George Bush would probably qualify."

Exactly. According to the Jackazz party, anything that helps GWB or hurts them should be out of bounds. Amazingly enough, the Repubs always seem to go along with this. They should remind us at every opportunity that we were attacked, and that the Rat party postition has been and always will be to do NOTHING.

If the GOP wants coverage by the LameStream Media they need to make the Dems mad. Besides what could be more political than an attack on our country?

Hmmm, I guess FDR never mentioned Pearl Harbor during the 1944 campaign, right?

Love your name...
I wanna know why WE can't talk about 9/11, we can't talk about religion OR go to churches. I live outside of Dayton, Ohio, and ALL DAY yesterday on the news, we were treated to the john-john's visit to Springfield Ohio. They not only attended a black church, but john#1 actually took a microphone and started quoting scripture. "Praise the LORD, praise Him in His sanctuary... etc.ect." I couldn't put the tele on any local stations all day...

Really, she should know exploitation when she sees it. This from the woman who told the press repeatedly that her daughter was jogging that morning in lower Manhattan and whose husband practically sprinted downtown the day after for a photo op.
