Mark's family seem more flaky than Scott's, imo.
Especially, when they said Mark is "healing."
(gag.)

Mark has finally brought the focus of attention in htis circus on himself. I'm sure that's nothing new to him: "Lori's dead, yes, so we can forget about her. But look at me! I'm ALIVE! And HEALING!"

I think so too! Even without the oxygen tank!

"Resting," another term his family used early on. How nice.....Mark is "resting and healing." Also, getting medical attention he needs.

Beyond me how the Hackings could make such statements. Even if it's true, why say it?

With the lies this guy has told over the years, I'd say to double check if he said the sky was blue! Sort of like the "trust but veryify," without the "trust" part.

'Police are more certain missing pregnant woman Lori Hacking was killed after recovering a mattress belonging to her and her husband, FOX News has learned.

'The mattress had marks on it, sources close to the investigation said, but no blood was found. Investigators believe a tarp or some other type of liquid-proof covering may have been placed on the mattress, indicating premeditation.'

LOL! Yeah! The oxygen tank!

At least they had the good sense not to say Scott was resting, healing and getting the medical attention he needed.

Some mattress covers are waterproof. I wonder if it was one of those?

Premeditation negates insanity.

If he placed plastic, canvas on the bed, then it's a sure bet he planned to murder Lori while she slept.

I suppose we'll hear next that Lori somehow had it coming. What a freaky bunch.

Are they still saying things like that? I know that at first, everyone, both families even, were giving him the benefit of the doubt--as was the case with Laci Peterson's murder at first. What amazed me was Lori's mother, even after it was becoming apparent that Lori hadn't "disappeared" but had been murdered probably by her husband, still supporting him and praying for him. I don't know if she's Mother Teresa calibur, or just terribly deluded?

MizS sez, 'Sort of like the "trust but veryify," without the "trust" part.'

*grin*

it is creepy to think what SocioPath-Liar-Mark is up to now, isn't it?

I have a waterproof mattress pad on the bed for when
my grandsons take naps here. It's possible there was
a waterproof cover on Lori's bed. Apparently, she's
wrapped in it as well as the sheets, per Rita Cosby.

I doubt it was waterproof. To my knowledge, those are only used for toddlers and seniors to protect mattress from accidents of the bladder / bowels variety.

Not the OOPs I just killed my wife variety.

(My aunt bought "Out!" Pet Stain and Odor Remover in the economy refill size at Wal-Mart when my uncle started having "accidents" -- she said it was very effective for cleaning up after him.)

DJ sez, 'Premeditation negates insanity.'

Cool. It would feel great to see Old Liar Boy brought to justice. Real justice. Not touchy feely Oh Poor Mark justice.

I don't care to elaborate, but those waterproof mattress covers are handy for other stains as well.

I am NOT trashing Mormons, but maybe Lori's mom has some kind of attitude of idolizing Mark as the "head of household" that comes from the teachings of their church?

Terribly deluded and in denial. Because the love
and trust Mark so much. Unlike Laci's mother, who
once the pieces weren't fitting, turned on Scott.
Laci's family loved and trusted Scott, too, for
many years. Until it looked evident to them, Scott
had secrets and something to hide.
