There is an enemy invasion going on along our Southern Border. Only a handful of outnumbered border guards and local ranchers are manning the defenses.
Much as I truly despise the rat party, note that Republicans have also abandoned our Southern Border defenses.

More than that pour over the border every week. If you think that is doing something then you have very low expectations.

Whether this report is true or not it's certainly plausible. Our open, southern, border is a blot on the Bush administration's war on terror.
If the 9/11 terrorists were smart enough to exploit the airlines for their use then finding a way into the US, through Mexico, should be even easier.
Maybe looking for another attack in NY City is the wrong place to be looking. Dallas or Atlanta might be the right places. If we have attacks on our southern cities, Bush would have a lot of questions to answer.
Reality tells everyone that short of Marshall Law (which ain't gonna happen) people are going to get across the borders. Hell, they can take a boat to the coast and get off. Actually, I think that is more feasible. that way they can bring their "suitcase" with them. If you think that having the military lined up along the border is going to stop this war, hummmm.
Part of interdiction, is keeping your mouth shut about the best places to head them off and round them up.
Though, maybe a phone call every now and then, letting people know the results of their reporting would provide some encouragement. It has to be pretty disheartening seeing all the traffic and no arrests.
A wall, the military whatever it takes to get it done. Regardless anything would be more than what's being done now.
And I have news for you, having the military on the border might not stop it but it shure as hell is going to make it a lot harder on the terrorists.

Did you really think the lives of a few thousand American citizens would put the kabash on both parties global agendas?
Nothing will be done about our borders until we get loud n mad, and even then, nothing may happen except a few citizens getting their heads clubbed.
In all seriousness, do you really think a bunch of terrorists with unlimited funds, doesn't know how to train Islamofascist "SEAL" teams. They trained pilots etc. The fact remains the GOVERBMENT can not guarantee your safety. We all must take responsibility for the security of this country.
The next time you go into any establishment, make sure you check to see if they have any illegals workimg there. Everytime you eat at a restraunt or frequent an establishment that hires illegals, you are supporting the problem. However, I find it interesting that most police depts KNOW where the illegals live and hang out, yet never arrest tham or at the very least call the INS. Start with your City Councils.
