Willie supporting Kucinich makes a certain amount of sense -- one freaky anti-establishment liberal supporting another (even freakier) one. But Willie supporting the ultra-stiff, pro-establishment, pro-WOD Kerry makes no sense at all. .....unless he's fallen under the "anybody but Bush" spell.
I could see him supporting a Libertarian though.
