Things are bad down in Columbia.
Thank goodness we in the U.S. don't have a police problem like they do.
To: ambrose
Great. Try to get high, end up face down in the yard and shot.

---What's new: On Thursday, the sheriff's office released a copy of the investigative report. Prosecutor's office said Friday there was no evidence the two deputies committed any criminal wrongdoing.
What's next: Sheriff Garry Lucas will decide on officer discipline, if any.---
What's next is a lawsuit I would guess. Clark County should just start transferring it's funds to the young woman's account right now. It would save time. They fire five shots at a dog and wound a handcuffed suspect and then say there was no wrongdoing?

A sheriff's investigation into the shooting of a 19-year-old woman by deputies who were firing at her dog confirms that she was handcuffed and lying on the ground just before being hit. -snip-
The investigation was conducted by the sheriff's Major Crimes Unit assisted by Vancouver police Detective Jane Scott. On Friday, Chief Criminal Deputy Prosecutor Jim Miller said he had reviewed the investigation and concluded there was no evidence the two deputies committed any criminal wrongdoing.
Yup...only in the new JBT America is there "no evidence"...the perp obviously had it coming, what with being cuffed and on the ground in control and all; and if those uppity "witnesses" know what is good for them, they'd better start "remembering" in the JBT's FAVOR!
No way will I EVER give up my 2nd Ammendment rights, not with THIS stuff going on!

What strikes be is what crappy shots these donut eaters are... they just pull out a gun and start shooting away. Don't they have to pass some kind of test for aim at a target range?

Indeed, Miller said, encountering a man with a gun was stressful for the deputies. So find another job. Lots of folks have guns. Lots of dogs get excited. Deal with it without blowing everyone to kingdom come.
To: Larry Lucido
Yeah, funny how that works.
No shortage of new trainees for police jobs, YET, you never see these guys get fired on the spot.
In MY office, if a bizdev dude started blathering about how losing an account was "stressful" you KNOW where he would be told to get less stress.

When police abandoned the "six-shooter" for the high capacity magazine semi-automatics, they forgot all about target practice.
Wait until the typical street-level patrolman gets the ability to carry sub-machine guns.

The best thing is President Bush ...(the great protector of American's constitutional rights)...
signed a bill into law...giving active duty and retired police officers the right to carry concealed handguns in every state in the union....
These keystone dufus cops and all affirmative action don't ask don't tell cops get to protect themselves and their significant others....while the peons of the empire...the serfs...of the American govts empire...cannot carry and in some states cannot own....weapons needed to defend themselves and their loved ones...
Meanwhile 7000 new Russian Muslims are to be given citizenship with 5000 more waiting in the wings...14 Syrians with expired visas (how they got visas in the first place?) are carrying out what appears to be a practice hijacking run on a US commercial aircraft...The Border Patrol has been re-tasked and cut to the bone...while Homieland Security allows an even more porous border to stream in illegal narco terrorists, meth mules, the Mexican Army, Central and south American communists, Red Chinese Communists, Cuban Communists, and Muslims of every persuasion...al Qaeda al Qaida Hezbollah Hamas, Islamic Jihad etc etc etc.....
Our government expects American young people to go off to fight in Iraq and Trashcanistan to free Muslims to live under Muslim rule....but when they get home many of them will not be allowed their constitutional right to keep and bear arms by that very same govt. that sent them off to fight and in some cases to die or become permanently disabled...
And of course the 2 party cabal made sure the only other choice is completely unacceptable...John F. (Frankenstein) Kerry...... imo

I feel badly for the dog. The people, on the other hand, obviously brought their troubles on themselves.
To: ambrose
The Police were just doing their job, following standard procedure. There is no record of any policeman ever violating any citizen.
