LOL. I thought the same thing.... to further his humiliation the cameraman caught him from the most unflattering angle possible.

Like I said earlier in this thread...I would need veterinary sedatives to keep me civil in that seat.
Looks like he bugged out first chance he got.

The football picture could cost him the election if it was made more widely available. Especially when put beside the one of Bush getting ready to throw. Powerful imagery. "Who would you want to lead your country in these dangerous times?" The elites would sneer, but the elites are a small minority. Even common working Dems wouldn't be able to get that picture out of their heads when standing in the polling booth.

Kerry:"Yeah, I know you were supposed to throw out the pitch tonight, but in case you haven't noticed I'm John Kerry, I served in Vietnam. Now hand over the F'n Ball!" Wouldn't surprise me if that's what happen
As bad as I'd feel for that Guardsman, I'd luuuuuv for this to turn out to be true.
OK, serious question: If kerry wasn't expected to be at the game, just who was supposed to throw out the first pitch?

He's scheduled to speak at the Kennedy Space Center on Monday. He was scheduled to arrive at a local airport at 6:45pm tonight.
I went to the airport and was waiting with some other folks. We got word from a news crew that he wouldn't be there until around 1:00am Monday.NYCV, Mo, you might be interested in this, too. Apparently Kerry was supposed to be in FL tonight, not at this game.

Who would've said? The press? LOL :) He said he planned his "secret" visit a week ago, so he couldn't have changed his mind on it.

Thanks to you both for posting this great pic! :-) I hope GWB was watching this tonight!

I was speaking more of the national TV audience.
BTW, all, I gotta believe the video of this pitch is going to be all over Fox & Friends tomorrow morning.

Well, something's funny, because unless Jean has an evil twin Skippy, he can't be in two places at once.
