Eh?
That was as stirring performance of JERUSALEM with the youth choir...
Like others here I also bought WE WERE SOLDIERS after the funeral. I was so struck with the arrangement played during the Recessional and thought it sounded like film music...thanks to all the knowledgeable FReepers here I found out it was, and got it :).
I was at the Reagan Library yesterday...they were supposed to have an official DVD and CD released around July 1 but they either sold out or have been delayed, a sign in the gift shop said they would be released later this summer.

Indeed it was...
I am *so* envious of you (in a good way :-) that you got to go to the library...
I have not received my DVD/CD either that I ordered for Father's Day.
Thanks for a great link.
The video I captured from my copy of the Reagan funeral shows the hymn "Jerusalem," arranged so beautifully that I could listen to it repeatedly until I died and I would be a happy man.
However, thanks to preemptive and some might argue presumptious :-), over-achieving Freepers, I have discovered "Mansions of the Lord," whose performance in the Reagan funeral I have added to my company's website.
It is a truly haunting performance, and I can't dry the tears from my eyes as I listen to it. Thank you all for pointing me to the song, this performance, and to the movie that it came from.
I doubly still want to high-five Nancy for making sure this tribute to her fallen soldier was included in his memorial. She exhibits greatness that I can't express, that has us all choked up nodding "yep, yep" and that needs no explanation.
For all you folks who jumped the gun and assumed that the video I posted was "Mansion of the Lord" I proffer my capture of the "Mansion of the Lord" portion of the funeral, and my thanks for trying to help me find the music I was seeking.
Note that I included the "Let us go forth in the name of Christ" part of the service in my video. I have done this for three reasons:

Thank you for such wonderful video and music. Now I am blubbering but thanks anyway.
bttt
I first became aware of Mansions of the Lord in Gibson's "We Were Soldiers" movie. I too am grateful for the links back to it from the posters. A profoundly beautiful song.
Bump as my first post.
God Bless America.
MaxMax..
You couldn't have picked a better bump, mein freund.
