I was just reading on DU. Someone there saying he was real late at a rally in Denver, and the crowd couldn't see because of press bleacher setup. And everyone was VERY unhappy. This is said to be typical for Kerry appearances, lateness and lots of disappointed and peeved people.

Second correction: We have confirmed that John Kerry has flip-flopped again so we are flip-flopping with him. He was staying at the Radisson (security concerns), Then the Hilton Cocoa Beach (remodeling) and finally at the Courtyard by Marriott Courtyard in Cocoa Beach at 3425 N. Atlantic Ave. (On A1A about ¼ mile south of SR 520). We have decided to move the sign waving in front of the Marriott along A1A still at 7:30am till around 8:30 or whenever he leaves.
We will park across the street in the Riverside Presbyterian Church parking lot. Bring your flip-flops to wave and any homemade signs you want to wave.
We have Bush Rally signs.
We will also have some people north on A1A by the Radisson (those that don’t get this email) since the press corps is staying at the Best Western in Cape Canaveral and we will then catch them as they go to the meeting at the Debus Conf. Center at the KSC Visitor Center where he will be speaking.
There are a number of Veterans from Vero Beach that are planning to go to the Titusville Airport (Space Port Regional) on Sunday evening and attempt to meet John as he lands there. He is supposed to be flying in at around 6:30pm or 7pm. (Or will he flip-flop and land at Melbourne)?

Security tight for Kerry's visit

Local law enforcement agents are readying for Democratic presidential contender John Kerry's first election year visit to Brevard County.
The trip, part of Kerry's nationwide tour leading up to the Democratic Convention in Boston, is expected to be fast and furious.
Kerry will arrive at the Space Coast Regional Airport on this afternoon, stay overnight at the Courtyard by Marriott in Cocoa Beach, and visit the Kennedy Space Center on Monday morning before his early afternoon departure.
I don't think local law enforcement should do anything beyond what they normally would do for the arrival of a visiting senator.
Nothing.
Let him pay for his own security.
Sunday- 5 pm 7090 N. Atlantic Ave., Cape Canaveral
Will gather at vacant parking lot (west side of A1A).
At approx. 7 pm, Vets Against Kerry, Rolling Thunder, and many more will motor down A1A to the Courtyard by Marriott Courtyard in Cocoa Beach at 3425 Atlantic Ave. (on A1A about 1/4 mile south of SR 520.
Parking may be available across the street at the Riverside Presbyterian Church (If we're allowed).
Look for the Flags, Vets, signs, and patriotic Americans!
