RE:
"....A government official with knowledge of the investigation said Archives employees took action promptly after noticing a missing document in September. This official said an Archives employee called former White House deputy counsel Bruce Lindsey, who is former president Bill Clinton's liaison to the National Archives. The Archives employee said documents were missing and would have to be returned....
I wonder what the written procedure is for employees when documents are found to be missing, I doubt it involves contacting the person and asking for them back...Would they do the same for you me or any Republican?"
-Why was a Clinton Adm official called, is it because the docs in question are part of Clinton's "legacy" papers? Should they not have immediately contacted someone in the Dept of Justice or White House? Maybe I am missing part of the explanation for this, please enlighten me.
I also think "they" had soooooo much time to fix this, since investigation began last January, that it is all fixed now, evidence taken care of and that we will never lknow the bad stuff he "lost".
Hate to be so pessimistic, but the clinton machine has a huge list of crimes gotten by with, so hard to believe "this one has legs"!
Just wishful thinking? .
Nah, he'll write a "tell all" book like all the others.
What did ANY of the Clinton horde know about ANYTHING? People were put into positions of authority, without regard to their qualifications and abilities.Remember Craig Livingstson?
This "shadow government" stuff is getting very ire inducing;to say the least.
Clark,Wilson,Berger, the Clintons, and many more, are neck deep in this muck and mire.
We will never be rid of them. NEVER!
I doubt we will ever know what they did to this country in our lifetime.
Where'd you read that?
the archivists may have seen a theft, contacted the appropriate police and were from that point on doing what they were told to do. call bl for example.
Sadly, that is probably true. But I intend to get my grandchildren up to speed, when I have some,so that when the truth comes out,and it shall, they'll nod knowingly. :-)
consensus bump
I heard the Kerry-Brokaw "I didn't have a clue" clip on Hugh Hewitt's show, and I was struck that Kerry didn't directly answer Brokaw when Brokaw asked a second time if Kerry knew and said "He didn't share that with you?" "I didn't have a clue" not only made Kerry look dumb, but it wasn't a flat-out "No."
Check out Kerrys speech of Feb 2nd...and since pulled from his web site....discovered and posted by grandpa Dave and couple others..
Kerry plagiarized parts of the super secret millennium report the Berger stole.
Sounds like our MAD and LOONIE ex-VP AL GORE after all that iced tea (I was out of the room.).
GOD's grace!
What do you mean, "there's no way" .. they're already spinning it.
However .. I don't believe it will work, which Scarborough pretty much clearly pointed out tonight.
"received assurances that these officials would treat the matter confidentially"
Berger is a crook and he's going to get special treatment .. why ..?? It would be a cold day in hell before a repub ever got special treatment.
Weren't some of the "handwritten" comments Berger's own handwritten notes which he removed from the documents ..??
"Bruce Lindsey, who is former president Bill Clinton's liaison to the National Archives"
I believe that answers your question.
Evidently, Lindsey has some responsibility for x42's archived documents. I'm not familiar how that works.
LOL! Accident! I thought it was "an honest mistake".
blechhhhh
