"I'm enormously impressed," said 9-11 Commisioner Jamie Gorelick (right), "that laypeople with no powers of subpoena, with no access to insider information of any sort, could put together a very powerful set of questions and set of facts that are a road map for this commission. It is really quite striking. Now, what's your secret?" |

Thanks for the ping!
Newtie just said that Sandy knew better and that he's guessing that the NA people tipped off the FBI,because they were too afraid to stop Sandy, themselves.

Mark Levin got an earlier ping on this. Knowing Mark, he wants to do his homework first.

In a speech today at the UCLA International Institute, Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry offered his comprehensive approach to fighting the global war on terrorism. In the second of a series of speeches on national security, Kerry presented a plan to identify, disrupt, and eliminate terrorist networks using all the resources at our disposal. As CIA Director George Tenet starkly reminded us this week, we are threatened by a far-flung terrorist network that will continue to operate even if Bin Laden is caught. Last December, John Kerry addressed the Council on Foreign Relations and outlined a global vision to make America safer and more secure. Today, he is detailing the terrorism component of that vision, strengthening the nations position in the global war on terror". Kerry gave this speech to the above.
It appears that specific data in this speech came from Berger and apparently some came from the material borrowed.
This speech had been displayed on Kerry's website. Sometime yesterday, it disappeared from the site. However, we were able to snag it on Google. It was posted as a reply yesterday and as a separate thread today.
Ping!

For those who missed it, jmstein7 was on 770 WABC with Mark Levin and mentioned the Kerry campaign's attempt to delete this material from their campaign website. Jon described how it was captured off the web and posted here on Free Rebublic. He also pointed out the extremely unusual timing of their attempt to delete this material immediately after this Berger story broke. Mark said he'll check out this thread later and may do a follow up tomorrow.

Theory: Kerry outlined his plan for fighting terrorism, and used confidential/secret information stuffed down Berger's pants to do so. The plan? By using the confidential information, and directing Berger's testimony, Kerry was able to anticipate some of the 9/11 commissions findings, and therefore, he thought he would look brilliant if his campaign/website had already outlined his strategy on fighting terrorism to coincide with the reccomendations of the 9/11 commission.

Top notch work, Dave!!
You should make sure this gets to the House Panel Inquiry.
Chair is Tom Davis of Virginia.

All research should be fwd'd to Tom Davis-VA who will head the House Inquiry into this. Maybe we can ask a VA FReeper in Davis' District(VA 11)to phone and discuss w/a staffer who will be collating evidence for the inquiry.
It should not go to the WH. The POTUS needs to be kept out of this until after the campaign. The Donks spin is the WH co-ordinated this.

I've read through this thread (having come from Kerry Spot at NRO) and wondered how people know when the Kerry campaign removed the page from the website. Do we know for a fact it was removed this week? If so, how do you know that?
Just wanting to be clear about this aspect of the story.
Thanks!
