In fact, his victory over Bret Schundler was primarily attributable to the division in the ranks of the GOP after the previous governor (Donald DiFrancesco) turned out to be as corrupt as any other New Jersey politician and failed to win his party's nomination in 2001.

Perhaps it would be better if New Jersey were abolished as a state.

Since McGreevey isn't going to resign till after the elections are held can't the Republicans or any other group run adds against him now? Start running them calling for him to resign. When you are calling for him to resign use photos or tape of him with sitting democrats or even Kerry. Also it seems to me if there isn't a election for governor coming up the campaign finance reform laws don't apply here. You know, like during the so call "last 30 days".
