Never happen

Well I can guarantee it won't happen if we don't keep the heat on Ashcroft & the DOJ...
Of course if "Fat Sandy the Burglar" sings like a canary he might get a "pasadena"...
"now where did we put those ding dongs and twinkies for Fat Sandy?" LOL

"Why hasn't Berger been indicted?"

I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. Our government has many flaws, one of which is not protecting the US citizens from attacks by citizens "with agenda's" within our borders.

The ugly backbone of our government will be exposed within this story. The outcome will give me a very good idea as to the future direction of this country. As a realist, I believe this story will not flush out those at the core of the problem.

So true about the media! Yet I was actually surprised this morning on CNN...Lanny Davis was spinning like crazy and accused Bill Hemmer of spouting an unsubstantiated fact..(about Berger and the socks) and Bill actually came back with him saying that his reporters did not report rumor (not always true, but it was good to see the Dems actually getting challenged!)

His clearance is good for quite some time after he leaves government service and he is still bound by the confinements of such due to the sensitive nature of the information he would be privy to. Berger knows this and knows what he did was against the law. He also had to know that there were cameras watching him.

What I can't figure out is how did he possibly think he could get away with it?

"Now we know why Clinton brought Berger - he needed his assurance and counsel as to which documents Berger successfully stole & took to his home to be shredded before they testified."

And the lies just keep on comin'. Un-efin believable. When will this stop?

And The Bergermeister is part of the Kerry team!!!! This country is in deep trouble if the democrats are not called onto the carpet for this continuing behavior.

I see no light at the end of this tunnel.

lol

That would be a funny show. Or at least it would be good for one skit on a comedy show.

Okay. I just went over to DU to see what was going on regarding two items of interest. Berger, and Ronstadt. I don't want to bring too much demo crap into our forum, but just to say this. They fear grievous harm to their cause is invertible due to Berger's "inadvertent" theft of highly classified documents. Regarding Ronstadt, the DU'ers are near unanimous that her down fall in Veges is due to the VRWC.

A personnel security investigation is an inquiry into the following qualities of an individual:

Honesty
Trustworthiness
Character
Loyalty
Financial Responsibility
Reliability

(from http://www.dss.mil/psi/index.htm).

Here's some more about Security Violations: http://www.dss.mil/search-dir/training/csg/security/S1class/Secviol.htm

Or perhaps this short course on Treason will answer the questions as to why Mr.Sandy Berger stole the classified documents. http://www.dss.mil/search-dir/training/csg/security/Treason/Intro.htm#Treason%20101

I don't think he thought it would ever be reported. Seems to me he thought he would be above the law.

At best, the dems will have to let him go his own way since he will be regarded as damaged goods.
