You're right. She's much better looking that Sandy Berger.
But what she did was far less serious. She was a secretary acting on her boss' instructions to destroy files he had under his control. Wrong, but not quite so wrong.
Sandy Berger, on the other hand, was National Security Advisor, which is a highly important and trusted position. He stole and destroyed documents from the National Archives. This is a far more serious violation of the law and the public trust.
Agreed. And remember the media's indignation about that.
Sandy Berger will not be prosecuted. Bush's advisers will tell him it would not help him get votes in November. Enforcing the laws is only a secondary interest of W's administration.
