Maybe she's got a future with Slim-Fast...that is if she can keep her mouth shut.

If she could keep her mough shut she wouldn't need the Slim-Fast.

Yeah, very unfortunate. Things have changed for her since the 70's and 80's, most notably her dress size.

The president of the Aladdin was watching the show and decided Ronstadt had to go -- for good. She wasn't even allowed back in her luxury suite and was escorted off the property. And Bill Timmins says as long as he's running the Aladdin, Ronstadt won't be coming back.

In an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal before the show, Ronstadt said "I keep hoping that if I'm annoying enough to them, they won't hire me back."

Looks like she got her wish.

Linda Ronstadt singing her own song to herself:

You're No Good Lyrics
Linda Ronstadt

Feelin' better, now that we're through
Feelin' better, cause I'm over you
I've learned my lesson, it left a scar
Now I see how you really are

You're no good, you're no good, you're no good
Baby, you're no good (I'm gonna say it again)
You're no good, you're no good, you're no good
Baby, you're no good

I broke a heart, that's gentle and true
Yes, I broke a heart over someone like you
I'll beg his forgiveness on bended knee
I wouldn't blame him if he said to me

You're no good, you're no good, you're no good
Baby, you're no good (I'm gonna say it again)
You're no good, you're no good, you're no good
Baby, you're no good

I'm telling you now baby, that I'm goin' my way
Forget about me baby, 'cause I'm leaving this day
You're no good, you're no good, you're no good
Baby, you're no good (I'm gonna say it again)
You're no good, you're no good, you're no good
Baby, you're no good

Oh, oh, no
You're no good, you're no good, you're no good
Baby, you're no good

I see one more copy of Laura Ingram's book needs to be delivered.

Not only has he barred her from performing at the Aladdin, but he's banned her from the buffet as well.

Ouch!, "That will leave a mark, put some ice on it. Baby!" :))

And BTW after thinking about it, the song Desperado may have been anti Michael Moore. If I had the words I would post them but they begin with "Desperado, why don't you come to your senses"

Oh how I wish you were right. Unfortunately, Desperado was written by Don Henley. Henley has certainly been one heck of a performer and songwriter over the years, but has never followed his own advice and "come to his senses".

I will say that Henley has at least shown, for the most part, the good sense to keep his political beliefs out of his performances.

What a beautiful voice she used to have (don't know if it's still); but Linda cannot do live performances. I left about mid-ways in one of her performances in Reno, years ago. I was going to sleep watching her. No stage presence, whatsoever. Stone Ponies was her best "age", IMHO.

Jerry Brown dumped her, although press tried to assert it was mutual. Facts did not support the "mutual consent to break up" postulation.

Fascinating couple of weeks. Whoopi, Linda Ronstandt (jerry Brown's ex-friend); and Dymally in ca who was Jerry Brown's #1 man when Jerry was governor. Hmm... I wonder what's next in this script to "show up".

I remember back in the seventies when Linda did a concert at a prison. She's singing "You're no good" to these cons, and I'm thinking, damn, Linda, I don't know if I'd do that.

Heart is back on tour and appearing in Reno soon. I hope Anne and Nancy Wilson can still rock the house.

They just released a new album too.

Aladdin President Bill Timmins ordered security guards to escort pop diva Linda Ronstadt off the property following a concert Saturday night during which she expressed support for controversial documentary filmmaker Michael Moore.

As any PROFESSIONAL musician knows, one does not show their a$$ to their audience. Unfortunately, Mizz Ronstadt and her ilk have never learned this and should therefore suffer the consequences of their improprieties.

In summary: BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

The Stone Poneys were very good. Shame you didn't get a chance to notice.
