This is nothing but beating down a straw man. The bottom line to them is reflected in my tag line.

The Difference Between a Democrat and a Communist Is????

A Communist is honest in the expression of his goals and opinions; a Dhimmicrat shares the goals, doesn't have the courage to use the communist's means himself (but encourages and excuses terrorists and totalitarians), and lies hoping to use totalitarian by portraying himself as a 'gentler' and 'democratic' version of the communist.

"Both the content of the interview and the choice of publication—the Journal has been the most vehement media advocate of the war in Iraq and is one of the chief editorial voices of the extreme right within the American political establishment—are politically calculated to send a message. Kerry is reassuring the US ruling elite, including the far-right elements who now back Bush, that he can be trusted to carry forward the US conquest and occupation of Iraq."

I'm convinced.

NOT!

"Anti-war sentiment was responsible for the rise of former Vermont Governor Howard Dean to front-runner status last year. Most of Dean’s rivals, including Kerry and his vice-presidential running mate, John Edwards, adapted to the anti-war views of Democratic primary voters as part of their successful effort to wrest the nomination away from him.

HEY, LET'S GET THIS INTO THE HANDS OF THE DEANIACS, THE GREENIES AND ALL THE OTHER ANTI-WAR GROUPS SO THEY CAN GET MAD AS HECK AT KERRY AND VOTE FOR RALPHIE.

HOW DO WE DO IT? I HAVE THE E-MAIL ADDRESS OF SOME GREEN PARTY STATE CHAPTERS. (I LIKE TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO RUN FULL-THROTTLE THIS YEAR.) I'LL START E-MAILING THIS OUT TONIGHT. FIND ANY ANTI-WAR GROUPS YOU CAN ON THE WWW AND GET THIS INTO THEIR HANDS.

Kerry set three conditions that would have to be met for removing US troops from Iraq.

And Iraq telling us to get out is not one of them.

I haved no idea what flip=flop Kerry really will do about Iraq. It doesn't matter anyway, because half the people are simply going to vote against Bush and could care less what Kerry says or does.

I tend to agree with you but if something major breaks in this campaign, it can take votes away from Kerry b/c his support is so shallow. Am I right or wrong?

Much of Kerry’s criticism of Bush was, if anything, from the right...Bush had not consulted sufficiently with the military brass...he would “listen to them with greater respect than this president and his secretary of defense did.

This is just part of Kerry's charade of being a conservative at heart. As for listening to military brass, Bush did. He allowed Tommy Franks to run the war. And the dire prognostications of the left-of-center Clintonista retired military, the ones Kerry would have relied upon, did not come to pass. Not only were they wrong about the war to oust Saddam, they did not foresee, as nobody foresaw, the precise nature of the problems to be faced in post-Saddam Iraq.
