That, ladies and gentlemen, is the AP's reports of the first Democratic National Committee's major act of stupidity – in which they open festivities with America's only elected president who was impeached and convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice – and is STILL under criminal investigation by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York – for Pardongate.

Well when all you have is scandal, stupidity, corruption, dishonesty and vanity you have to start somewhere.

avoid a picture of John Kerry and Mike Dukakis together at all costs...

That's a GREAT Idea! Now, why didn't I think of that?

Be quiet, Les. When your enemy is destroying himself, just get out of the way and watch.

""It's a slap in the face, not personally for Hillary Clinton, but for every woman in the Democratic Party and every woman in America,"

Why? Is it all about celebrating one gender over another? The DNC needs to get over it's self and Hillary needs to return the silverware.

"[Dukakis] may have run a bad campaign, but he is not a bad person," said Dan Payne, a Democratic consultant who worked on Kerry's Senate campaigns. "He has never embarrassed himself, his state or his party. It would be a disservice to him to ignore him completely."

As a human being, Dukakis is head and shoulders above clinton and his witch consort, Sen. Hillary Khomeini!!!!

As for Kerry, it would be right for him to appear A LOT with clinton, because Kerry is a follower of clintonism, pure and simple!!!! I hope that the American people would not be duped by such appearances, because clinton is a "winner". When clinton or clintonism wins, the American people, and the rest of the world, are BIG LOSERS!!!!!

As for Senator Khomeini, her strategy is to do everthing she can to subtly undermine the Kerry-Edwards campaign, so that she gets a clear shot at the Presidency in 2008!!!! Just watch her sneaky machinations between now and November.

When Bush wins, celebrate heartily for awhile, but WATCH YOUR BACK for Hillary's new campaign!!!!

"When your enemy is destroying himself, just get out of the way and watch. "

Yep!

And the RNC is doing the same stupid thing!

all their speakers are liberals - 20 years ago they would have been called liberal democrats - now they claim to be "moderate" rino's ??

There's your choice people:

COMMUNISM / SOCIALISM Heavy with the DNC

or

SOCIALISM light with the RNC

or

????

I think that the whole fake Hillary-wasn't-asked-to-speak act is so desperate, on the part of the Clintons. However, let us just suppose that it is for real: what I find funny is that Bubba did NOT say anything about giving up his time slot for Hillary, or threaten to not speak unless Hillary got to speak.

Where is the evidence thay they actually learned anything
from the Wellstone "Memorial"?

And even if they did learn something, who they really
are is always going to leak out at random times. They
are the more tribal of the two parties, and when tribal
fervor takes hold, self control is impaired.

I think BJ and Hitlery set the whole thing up to get more attention for the witch. I also think they are doing everything to undermine the pretty boys' campaign to leave 2008 wide open.

"It's a slap in the face, not personally for Hillary Clinton, but for every woman in the Democratic Party and every woman in America," said Judith Hope, a major party fund-raiser. "

Dear Judith Hope - make that minus one woman in America. In fact, I feel it is a slap in my face to have hillary clinton speak, let alone introduce bill clinton. I have seen, heard, and learned more than I ever wanted to see, hear and learn from those two! That is how this woman feels.

"But then Kerry invited her to be a principal speaker – correction – introducer – of her husband!"

I actually found this to be a subtle twisting of the knife. Its a reminder that Hillary only got where she is today by riding her hubby's coat-tails. They have basically asked her to bake cookies.

Dukakis, who now keeps a low profile as a Northeastern University political science professor.

Political science professor....now that's a visual.

It has setup written all over it. This is just another way of making Hillary look like a messiah.

Actually, it's frightening.

You're not kidding, I saw that episode of the Twilight Zone
and it spooked me out.
Remember how that woman in the background tried to control
the world?

LOL, good point. Well, maybe we will get to hear her introduce him, in that screeching, awful voice she affects when she is trying to feign enthusiasm.

HERE!!!! IS!!!!! MY!!!!! HUSBAND!!!!!

or maybe we'll be spared!

***The DNC needs to get over it's self and Hillary needs to return the silverware.***

I keep wondering what happened to the beautiful and outrageously expensive blue Chihuly bowl that the Hildabeast took with her when she finally left the white house.

Talk about dem crapweasel mistakes reminds me. Isn't the "Thank God, Paul Wellstone Is Still Dead Festival and Grope A Government Employee Celebration" just around the corner?

Still believe that Hillie and Willie have to do whatever they can to ensure that Flipper John loses to keep her hopes alive for 2008 and beyond. Maybe the plane load of black hookers from Little Rock was a mistake.

I think you are absolutely correct. If Hillary wanted to speak at the convention, there's no way her flying monkey Terry McCauliffe would stop her from doing it. This whole thing was set up to once again make Hillary look like the victim, thereby generating much more publicity for her appearance at the convention that it would have gotten otherwise.
