This is a non-starter. Too bad, though.

Isn't she the one who thought Neil Armstrong planted the American flag on Mars?

I hope the challenger is right about his accusation. He is convicted enough to follow through legally. I am thrilled to see somebody challenge SJL.

I don't know if a Republican even filed to challenge Queen Sheila in this race, but
this guy's website certainly indicates that he's a conservative.

If he filed a lawsuit, he must have the goods on somebody.
Crooked election officials?

oops, you beat me to that link!
BTW, I don't think a conservative would stand a chance with her constituents. I do think the independents might, especially if this pans out. This is such good, hopeful news. keep me posted if you hear more about this!!!!

I appologize, again. I didn't read the follow-up posts while I firing away the links. I am reading up on this guy now. Called my husband in... he is trying to bump me off the computer to check this out. Good work here, DG!!

SJL could be Whoopie's double if she ever changed her hair!
That hair hasn't been taken down or changed in over a decade, I don't know if she even washes that beehive thing.
To: exhaustedmomma
It would be hilarious if she missed the filing deadline and he has proof of it. But it could have national repercussions because you know that the poverty pimps and other black radicals would immediately proclaim that blacks were being disenfranchised.
And it would all be Bush's fault.
I'll keep you posted.

The question is whether she filed with the Harris County Democrat Party or the Harris County Board of Elections (or whatever office handles the filings). I'm sure it is notarized.
If the notarization is there and other Democrats testify that they witnessed the filing, I don't think the case has a prayer.
He would have to prove not only that SJL didn't file properly but that her Dem backers are all lying about it.
Would be wonderful if it were true but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I hope his evidence is water tight. Because otherwise...he is going to be accused of racism. Oh, hell, he is going to be accused of racism either way. After all, they don't try to hold the WHITE Democrats to the rules.

"...proclaim that blacks were being disenfranchised" I think I should claim desenfranchisement. I live in her district and every time I call her office they hand-up on me. PLEASE. PLEASE. Let this be true!

Sheila Jackson Lee may be ineligible for the November election ping. This could get interesting! I'd be glad to see her potty mouth out of office!
