I didn't realize Wilson had any connection to the Kerry campaign. Why should he denounce the statements of someone he has no control over, or even connection to. I don't see the connection - is there one? M. Moore also has no connection to the Kerry campaign - he's just a nut out there on his own.
You are wrong, the Kerry campaign hired Joe Wilson in May of 2003, before the Bush Lied campaign started. I'll post you a link from the Boston Globe, where Wilson brags about it.

I'm one of Sean's biggest supporters here, but given the context that you provided, we don't disagree a whole lot on him...
