That gas-guzzling POS is almost as bad as an SUV and should be banned. </sarcasm>

Let's see my 1983 van got 16 MPG 20 years ago. Today, however, my 2003 Chevy van gets.....16 MPG and costs twice what the 83 did.

My 1966 Datsun gets 36 mpg today (I drive it regularly on 600 mile runs and it costs little in gas and nothing in maintenance). My new truck gets 17 mpg, and it cost 15 times what the 1966 did. (Of course it's nice to have air conditioning in the truck.)
