Prostitution laws do not cover the making of pornography, as you well know. Since no crime was comitted, no one can be an accesory to such non-existent crimes.

I'm in favor of legalizing prostitution.
And the reason to curb this form of expression is... what? What is so significant to vital national interests about sex that the government needs to pay attention to it?

The reporting rate for rape has greatly increased over the past few decades for two reasons -- one good and one bad. The good one is that the stigma attached to victims has been greatly reduced (e.g. the suggestion that "she was asking for it" has become much less acceptable in both polite society and defense arguments). The bad one is that dubious cases in which a change of heart after the fact is reported as "date rape" have polluted the statistics.
Of course, an increase in the rape report rate makes the decline in total reports all the more striking, and all the more damning to the "porn turns men into rapists" theory.
When I want to find out what time it is, I look at a watch and when I want to know what year it is, I look at a calendar.
Look at what you want but don't bring up silly arguments about this being the Zero's or Puritan ways ended long ago, or that a little lookie doesn't hurt anyone.
I respect anyone's right to be wrong, dull and empty. I wouldn't dream of 'imposing' my narrow view on the voyeurs. But to simply dismiss the deleterious effects of pornography as a non issue because you aren't being burned by it is narrow. It's a wicked trap with no end in sight for a lot of men, who at one time, said "What is a little peek gonna hurt?"
Suppose a country was discovered where you could sell magazines of food dishes scantily clad in chives or watch streaming videos of covered plates of great grub being slowly uncovered set to great elevator music. Wouldn't some think something had gone wrong with the appetite for food?

And what's the connection between that and decency laws? Other than the fact that the same people who are trying to clamp down on prayer are largely opposed to decency laws?

That analogy doesn't work. Peeping toms are repellent because they spy on people who do not want to be seen. If your neighbors wanted you to watch them having sex, that makes you a voyeur, them exhibitionists and no crime has been comitted.
