Love of "learning"? Where might we find that among liberals in postmodern America? I guess he has an ironic sense of humor and self-satire.

Conservatives should nail the socialists to the wall with rusty iron spikes every time they dare say that they're in favour of "community spirit" - conservatives believe in a moral society, and that charity should begin at home. Socialists believe you should be forced to do so, since they're more moral people they have the right to force you to do it and they'll administer it, thank you very much.

I sort of doubt that. I doubt modern American liberals even know what "magnanimity" means. You have to read the ethical writings of Aristotle, Cicero, and Thomas Aquinas to understand that intelligently. These are banned writers in institutions controlled by liberals (i.e., they are Dead White Western Males - "conservatives").

Liberals believe it is better for a student to feel good about himself. Conservatives want students to read and write well. Please have a conservative teaching my kids... oh wait, one is. I home school (an other thing liberals don't believe in, can't instill their Marxist propaganda in my kids).
