As for the NAACP, I am constantly amazed at how they choose to burn their bridges with conservatives, even though the black population is very close to conservatives on many issues. The NAACP could be putting the liberal issues on the back burner for now, and working on the conservative black issues with conservatives, and make a lot of progress. Yet since 1994, they choose hold the conservative issues back, and take ever more desperate gambles to put liberals back in power.
Stay on the plantation if you know what's good for you. As an overseer, I call on you not to rock the boat and jeopardize my position. The entitlement society and victim mentality that permeates the plantation is essential if I'm to stay in power.
