BTW, welcome to FR. Get acquainted with the rules and do some lurking and learn the lingo. FR is on edge because we get a lot of newbies who turn out to be liberal trolls trying to distract Freepers from our conservatism.
Misplaced priorities, a question for Democrats
This is a question I prepared to publicly ask my Democrat US Senator.
My question will deal with what I believe are Democrats misplaced priorities. Making Our Country better should be the number one priority of those representing us in Federal Office.
A few years ago the leader of your Party decided that saving himself a little personal embarrassment was a higher priority than showing respect for the Truth the Rule of Law and Our Judicial System. So while under oath he simply lied. Then his minions ran around and in essence claimed that all politicians would do the same and look out for themselves first. You either agreed with Clinton or out of Party loyalty you found it acceptable that the President of the United States had placed his own desires ahead of concern for what is best for Our Country.
Instead of accepting that he had lost an election Al Gore asked the Florida Court to overturn current election law and create new laws favoring Al Gore in the recount. For Mister Gore it seems that his grab for office was more important than concern for the deep divisions he created in Our Country.
A few Democrats on the 911 commission considered learning from our past mistakes and trying to prevent another 911 type attack to be less important than the chance to take partisan shots at President Bush.
A couple of your fellow Senators have recently offered critiques of our efforts to rebuild Iraq that would seem to place a higher priority on attacking President Bush than on improving the situation in Iraq.
I believe that making Our Country better should be the highest priority of those I elect to represent me and since Democrats consider what is best for Our Country to be at best of secondary importance. My question for you is:
Why should any American who wants to make Our Country better, vote Democrat?
Given that he posted this as "Breaking News"...
Bad form indeed.
That's a truly beautiful zotpic!
Thank you Ma'am!
Simply impossible.
Unless...I could somehow get ahold of a flux capacitor.
Naaaah!
I'd have to speak with Christopher Lloyd to do that, and well, you know how he can be.
Seriously, I appreciate the welcome.
"Scourge" appreciates your appreciation.
A lot of FReepers distract us from our conservatism too. ;^)
