Friends,
The friend of my (and America's) enemy is not my friend.
Where do I begin?
Why not start off with some whoppers?
This past week has knocked me for a loop. "Fahrenheit 9/11," the #1 movie in the country, the largest grossing documentary ever.
Last week they were still parenthetically excluding IMAX and concert films from the "largest grossing documentary" equation; is this still the case?
My head is spinning.
When you deal in spin, you are liable to get dizzy.
Didn't we just lose our distributor 8 weeks ago?
No, but nice try at muddling the issue. You lost your distributor (Disney) last year. You chose to ignore the news until the Cannes Film Festival so as to be able to portray yourself as a victim and make it seem like a sudden news item.
Just like your ad campaign claimed "This film is not yet rated" when in fact it had been rated R by the MPAA, you were just appealing that rating (which was not overturned).
Did Karl Rove really fail to stop this?
It is not in Mr. Rove's power to "stop this" nor in his agenda. McCain-Feingold CAN limit Mr. Moore's First Ammendment Rights, however. All of the sheep who thought that Campaign Finance Reform was a "good thing" are now seeing the full implication of how it can be used to silence poltiical speech.
Is Bush packing?
Nope. How about all of those actors who said that they would leave the country if President Bush was elected to the White House? Oh, just more lies from the Hollywood left.
And then, there was today's top headline story in the NY Times -- about how five Saudi suspected terrorists in Guantanamo were given back to the Saudis in exchange for 5 Brits the Saudis were holding (and possibly torturing). So, if you are currently incarcerated in Gitmo and reading this, there's your ticket out -- just prove you are a Saudi!
"There's your ticket out", yeah kidnap allies (or civilians from allied countries) and torture them. Al Qaida has been employing this tactic for months now.
Does the name Nick Berg ring a bell, Michael???
Moore is a disgusting thing.
OK,... so now Dale Earnhart jr is on my shit list too, I will piss on every one of his Number stickers I see, and tell the one who has it on his hat or car just why.
It's 50/50 that they are the enemy, but this is war !
"Friends"
Shouldn't that be "Comrades"?
"[All of this had to be the absolute worst news for the White House to wake up to on Monday morning. I guess they were in such a stupor, they "gave" Iraq back to, um, Iraq two days early! ]
WTF, pooh for brains ! Maybe we should give Iraq back to France and Germany who had it in their back pocket before the UN treaty was finally enforced ! Then we can all start riding bicycles and live in tents when the world monetary system shifts to the Euro and the dollar is reduced to ashes
The Movie is full of lies. I do not think one bit of information about the war or the President is true. But what bugs me the most is that the people that Moore slanders in the film are have not yet sued Moore.
At the top of my List.
He has obviously manipulated footage of Condi Rice speaking in the spring of 2001 and saying that Iraq does not have have chemical weapons or the means to deliver them. "All their (Iraq) weapons were destroyed in 1998."
He apparently had actors portraying servicemen stating that they no longer support the war and will now vote Democrat.
He also has two actors dressed up and Army Recruiters that go to a shopping mall on the "poor side of town" to find recruits. Moor implies that recruiters do not even bother to go to the places where wealthy kids would be.
Moore never indicts Saddam instead uses time to discuss the horrors of the government in Saudi Arabia. He even shows a video that he claims is a public beheading in Saudi Arabia.
He claims that A Bush Cousin is a producer at Fox News and took part in calling Florida for Bush.
Of course there is the part of the Saudis flying out of the country right after 9/11 and everything else that you have read.
Moore should be sued for everything he owns!
Weight Watchers, and then Lindora if that doesn't work.
This past week has knocked me for a loop.
I call BS. If anybody'd knocked you for a loop, you'd still be rolling right now.
"Fahrenheit 9/11," the #1 movie in the country, the largest grossing documentary ever.
That's sort of like saying "Michael Moore is pretty cute for a fat guy." The bar isn't that high.
My head is spinning.
Then get out of the frozen dessert section.

Did Karl Rove really fail to stop this?
And why exactly would Rovey want a left-wing opinion leader to stop acting like a fool?
Is Bush packing?
No, but you're showing that "fudge-packing" isn't always a euphemism for poopy sex. Sometimes, it's simply a technically accurate description of what you do to your mouth when you're faced with the Chocoholic Bar at the Hyatt.
Did Dale jr. actually say that? I missed the race.If he did,he no longer is my favorite and I hope he loses all the races! Can some one tell me how to get a message to jr.?
** "Fahrenheit 9/11" beat the opening weekend of "Return of the Jedi."
Comparing his take (in an era with an average ticket price of $6.14 to a year with an average ticket price of $3.15)? That's a 20 year time span.
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/?yr=1983&p=.htm
May 2730 1983 $61,513,064 - Return of the Jedi (* Adjusted to the estimated 2003 average ticket price of $6.03.) - (readjusting to Boxoffice Mojo's newer figure gives ROTJ an opening weekend of ~$62,635,193).
F911 - Opening Weekend: $23,920,637 (868 theaters, $27,558 average)
Well one thing's for certain, Michael Moore is a rich anticapitalist.
Too bad for them the Democrats try to supress the absentee overseas military ballot.
Other networks had already called the state for Gore WHILE THE POLLS WERE STILL OPEN.
Has Mr. Moore identified who was responsible for that prophecy?
The state was projected in Mr. Bush's favor when there were a higher percentage of votes tallied.
I fail to see how any argument of "corruption" can be made from this detail.
Moore is an anticapitalist. He already "knows" that all property is theft anyway.
Some animals are more equal than others.

Fahrenheit 9/11: Crying, Laughing, Shouting at the Screen
Moore's Bush polemic hits raw nerve in New York
June 24th, 2004 12:00 PM
Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 opened in select theaters on June 23rd. If the drawn faces of audience members leaving some of the first screenings in New York City are any indication, this film fucks you up. (Hey Fahrenheit marketing people, put that blurb on your poster!) Those people willing to speakmany were dumbstruck and declined to talk, walking off in dazed silenceresponded with intense emotion.
"I cried," said Tom Allsup. "And I cried again."
"People laughed, but were polite," says Sheila Schwid.
"We talked back to the screen," says Casey Krugman.
Or, as one attendee joked, "I laughed, I cried, I wanted the Bush family dead!"
Pundits and critics have had their chance to weigh in, but for the most part those professional culture watchers know whether they're sitting on the left or the right side of the theater before they enter. It's audiences that will ultimately decide whether Moore has succeeded with his latest film. We talked with people as they exited Fahrenheit 9/11 to take their pulses and check their temperatures.
I Loved it!!

why post this crap at all?
