"...but Narses wrongs you in appropriating those words to bolster his own defective cause."

Instruct me please brother. What is my "own defective cause"? What is diabolical in acknowledging objective truth? Help me understand my alleged sin here.

I'm beginning to see, if darkly:

"The regrettable fact that the AmChurch hierarchy is timid or disobedient does not and can not confer any legitimacy upon the Lefebvrite schism."

First, since I am not a member of the SSPX, that isn't my direct concern. Second, your logic fails. If the argument the SSPX makes is necessity, and I happen to agree with that argument given the schismatic and heretical nature of the offerings of the Diocese I reside in, then there is a conferring of a form of legitimacy to the resorting to SSPX services by me and my family and many others scared to death by the abuses and outright animosity towards the TRUTH shown by so many prelates of the AmChurch. Poly's observation is one I've made many times. It stands independant of any relationship anyone might have to the SSPX or any other traditional order regardless of the regularity or lack thereof they might have from a strict canonical standpoint.

The REALITY is this -- Rome speaks, America ignores them. Abortion and politcs (poly = many, tics = blood sucking parasites) is just the latest example. I posted two others - altar girls and communion in the hand. There are many more. The seminary issues, the college issues and more.

The USCCB voted 183 to 6 NOT to obey this clear definitive demand from Rome.

I wonder whether these bishops would have refused Communion to Hitler... Actually, I guess I don't.

Ratzinger can't force McCarrick to do anything. A new conservative Pope who actually believes in Catholic Dogma may be able to but Ratzinger can't.

I mentioned this thing myself, on my site.

Ratzinger wouldn't. He's not really conservative, and doesn't really confess Catholic dogma.

A holy Pope is in the future, at some point. Whether it's the next, no one knows, of course.

Eight years ago and still the USCCB refuses to obey Rome on Canon 915.

Salvation, Narses, NYer, could you ping your lists to this old thread, as this applies to Biden et al going into this election.
