Agreed. I recall that Clinton had unsecure phone lines installed in the White House so that he could call whomever he pleased.

It came out at the time of impeachment that the Israelis (and who else?) had tapped the lines.

Of course, it's not embarassing for this information to have come out once the deviancy has been defined down, which is, of course, the goal of the left...

Alright, what is it with those of you finding Jack Ryan to be in a league with Clintoon? He wasn't cavorting with prostitutes, he didn't force himself on his wife. How is this such a big deal? He wanted to do that with his wife, but she turned him down. At least he wasn't running off with other women. And I don't see how this is such a big deal.

The divorce records shouldn't have been released.

The character of a candidate is important, it should be known. They could have obtained the information through other means.

Ryan was right to step down. He's also right to return the money. He's earned respect for that action. Many politicians would do no such thing.
