Forty four years ago we were assigned in an honors program to review
The Áfluent Society by John Kenneth Galbraith whose main thesis was that individuals, easily manipulated by wicked advertisers to spend their money on foolish things like giant fins on cars, were therefore clearly too stupid to spend their own money in their own interests. Not to worry, Galbraith and his elitists were handy to do that for us.
I was the only student in the seminar to challenge this view and, even in 1961, I was well and truly bludgeoned about the head and shoulders by an aroused faculty for my defalcation.
Still ahead lay the near triumph of communism and other excrescences of Marxism and the just in time rescue by Reagan and Thatcher. These were dark days indeed and we had not yet even Goldwater to carry the banner. There was no ready assets to hand for an instinctive if young conservative to seize hold of to maintain balance much less to hurl against the foe. Now the same shibboleths are being rehearsed yet again by a sixties Marxist who never has been able to completely cosmeticize her dark soul.
No worries this time, this dog ain't huntin' no more.

I believe that Hillary Clinton would get ~50% of the vote if she ran. This nation is in a crises.

I hope a video tape exists too. This should be seen and heard far and wide.

I wonder how much she's willing to give back for the common good? Stupid woman
To: kristinn
This is nothing new for Hitlery. She says stuff like this all the time. It is rarely reported and never said to an event the general public can see.

Every time I see/hear the bitch speak, I can only think of her as president... addressing a joint session of Congress and stating I now have no need for you. You are dismissed!!
The accused rapist was just her ticket to national celebrity status and a form of political credibility. She is now poised for 2008 and the opportunity to fufill her marxist/totalitarian fantasies.

I like it. Would be good to prod Kerry into making a similar gaffe. It's a gaffe because liberals lie and rarely tell the truth as to what they will really do. Mondale tried it and it didn't work very well.
