This is a rather odd poll. First of all, as pointed out, three Republicans to split the vote and one Democrat. Hmm But worse. Vote in the poll. Look at the vote totals. Click refresh. Look at the vote totals again. When I did that, Reagan LOST a vote. So its STACKED and FIXED!!

My letter to the editor which will appear in Sunday's Seattle Times.

The Best thing about the Clinton Presidency

Clinton has been busy hyping his new book "My Life." The best thing about the Clinton Presidency is that it will be forgotten by history, a mere footnote. If it weren’t for an eccentric billionaire he wouldn’t have had even that much. Absent Ross Perot’s help there is no chance that Clinton could have beaten President Bush (41) and it is questionable if he could have even beaten the inept candidacy of Senator Robert Dole.

Without any major accomplishments the only note worthy event will be impeachment. By his demonstrated lack of respect for the Truth, the Rule of Law and the Judicial Branch of our Government, Clinton may have inadvertently achieved a minor historical legacy. No wonder he claims in the recent 60 Minutes interview that he will always wear impeachment as a badge of honor.

This is easily explained. It's cold in Canada and everyone knows cold eventually stupifies your brain to the point where you don't know your ice from a hole in the ground or a president from an ice hole.

The fact that Clinton has been the dominant news story lately is the only reason he has achieved these poll numbers. You see the same thing in America. If the news were suddenly dominated for several weeks on Franklin Pierce or John Tyler, the result would probably be similar.

Americans know almost nothing about their Presidents, and I'm sure Canadians know even less.

Bill Clinton 5262 votes (65 %)

Adjusting for the margin of error, it's really 66.6%.

Things are getting a little closer to reality. Exchange Pres. Clinton's numbers with President GW Bush, and GW Bush with GHW Bush and they'll match my opinion.

Which of these U.S. presidents was most effective while in office?

Ronald Reagan
7558 votes (46 %)

George H.W. Bush
184 votes (1 %)

Bill Clinton
6300 votes (39 %)

George W. Bush
2232 votes (14 %)

Total Votes: 16274

When it comes to what will be written in the History Books , thats what he will be remembered for, And thats what hes trying so hard to get us to forget, because thats what he hates. Asumeing they can write books in Canada.

That's ok. Heck, when Canada suffers from a major Terrorist attack, and they most certainly will, we will simply send clintoon to talk to them and help them feel better about it. Bush and our Troops will be too busy serving the ones who really count....us!.

Once again a poll that splits republicans and leaves democrats with a single option. very clever.

Bill Clinton 5262 votes (65 %)

But Clinton got at least two vote votes for for every vote cast for all the Republicans combined.
