"I wasn't born when Jimmy Carter was in the White House. I'm 18, born during the presidency of the great Ronaldus Magnus. Every elected Democrat I've seen in my life (save people like Zell Miller), such as Hilbillary!, Albore, Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, Kerry, et al. has been a raving liberal lunatic dedicated to socialism and absolute power. A leftist Democrat party is all I have ever known."

Good god, you're 18?!? You write like someone with a Ph.D in English Lit. My hats off to you lad. :)

MSNBC last nite was pushing the viewpoint "Freedom of speech" and had a reviewer from the Christian Science Monitor saying everyone should go see it and then make up their own mind.

Funny how I don't remember any critics suggesting that about "The Passion."

Thanks! Unlike a good number of my peers, I actually pride myself on being well-spoken and literate. I've had people tell me when I raised my hand in class to stop using big words--as a [now former] senior in high school. It's sad, really, when people would rather pursue knowledge of J-Lo's secret wedding than of their own nation's history.

I've been writing plays since I was 12. One of my good friends has gotten hers published already. My "girlfriend" is an avid reader and is one of the few people my age with whom I can have a reasoned current events discussion. Before graduating high school, I headed up our Improv club (which always got rave reviews) and helped many to sharpen their extemporaneous speaking skills. I'd like to think I surround myself with good company...

Did you hear Mark Levin today, filling in for Hannity? His expose of Moore, mainly using Moore's own words, was devastating.

Before I turned Levin off (Good scholar, bad talk-show host), I was waiting for him to recount another thing MOOre said on the 9/12/01: that it was a shame that the terrorists struck New York City, a liberal place where it was likely the majority of the people incinerated and pulverized didn't vote for Bush, who, in Moore's estimation, was the reason for the act in the first place. To the best of my memory, MOOre suggested that adjacent "red" states would have made better targets.

I live in San Francisco and remember like it was yesterday the way those who held on to their wacko-left ideals would opine that Al Qaeda struck because of America's interventionalism, imperialism, resistance to Green causes, and racism (due to walking out of the anti-Semitic Racism world conference in South Africa).

They kept thinking that the reasons why bin Laden hates America are the same as the reasons THEY hate America.

Yeah, but Moore would just dismiss them as part of a right-wing corporate cabal determined to silence him.

Is it just me or does Moore seem to think the world revolves around him, and everybody's behavior is somehow a reaction to what he does? Personally, I don't give a damn what he thinks or what he produces. He's just a flash in the pan.

I am trying to find the full context of this quote. I know it is taken out of context. I would like the line of questioning that was taken and any other responses made by President Bush. Unfortunately google brings up a bunch of blather and same repeated arguments.

Quote is:
"I don't know where he is. I have no idea and I really don't care. It's not that important." in reference to Bin Laden

Thanks,

Jim

The dems might be breaking into a cold sweat as they realize that they may have overplayed their hand as Moore's assertions...

Moore is trying to generate sympathy for barbaric beheaders, while trying to generate disgust for the US actions in Iraq. That pig wont fly over middle America. Moore must have been banking on the jihadists acting civil. Its kinda strange when you think about it, all the jihadists had to do was to be peaceful for a couple of years and the US military leaves. Instead, they are forcing Moore and the DNC to embrace beheaders.

I post at the startribune.com talk forums regularly. The left is now starting to bring up Alex Jones and his film. Grrreat. I guess if they have to start stooping to that level, we have attained some semblance of a victory. I just am scared what these people will do when Bush takes office again 2004. Some posters for instance in the George W. Bush thread have talked of organizing mass civil disobedience if Bush is re-elected. I replyed I hope they have a good term in prison, but if these folks hatred of the country drives them to start committing crimes against ordinary folk, we'll have to fight back and there may be a time when words won't be enough. Michael Moore, Alex Jones, WWP, et al are cultivating and building a leftist base that I fear may start banding together in some sort of fashion when they see it impossible for their will to be carried out through the free election process.

Is it me or is there a pattern here,MM may end up damaging the DNC.....

The FR Truth Squad, who stood outside the primer in DC may be the reason for that.

I really don't know if terrible Terry knew about those,"freedom fighter" comments by Moore.

The difference between the Jihadists and the Far American Leftists is that the Jihadists have become combative. Just like the Marxists Rebels in South America and the Phillipines. If the Far Left wants to become combative, we will have the right and the moral authority to execute self defensive measures. The Far American Left however is passive. They potentially are utilizing the combativeness of the Jihadists Terrorists because they themselves are incapable of being combative (ELF excluded). Either way at the end of their tunnel is doom. No shining city on a hill. They are ineffectual as fighters and their Jihadists Terrorists are becoming the scorn of the planet.
