Not in the neighborhoods they're probably going to, such as inner city. Ask Jesse Jackson.

Who knows -- maybe the thugs they hired are from those neighborhoods? You know, register to vote if your don't want your face bashed in at all that.

Uh, people, we are not taking this NEARLY seriously enough.

Do you have any idea what they tried to DO here?

THEY HAVE JUST ATTEMPTED TO SEND BRUTES AND THUGS, VIOLENT CRIMINALS, TO PEOPLE'S HOMES AND "CONVINCE" THEM TO VOTE FOR A PARTICULAR CANDIDATE, AND TO "REGISTER" THEM.

Remember Al Gore calling us brownshirts on the SAME DAY? Well, as Jonah Goldberg put it on NR's Corner - that certainly sounds like part of the job description of the Sturm Abielung to me!

http://www.nationalreview.com/thecorner/corner.asp

"The same day that Gore accused a bunch of GOP flacks who email rebuttals to journalists "brown shirts" it was reported that an activist group working in alliance with John Kerry was dispatching convicted felons -- i.e. real thugs and brutes -- to go door to door in neighborhoods to foment support for their candidate. That was certainly part of the job descripton of the Sturm Abteilung. What they were not told to do, however, was send notes to reporters asking them to be more accurate in their coverage.

"Now, I don't think the felons are in fact brownshirts, but only in the topsy-turvy world of Al Gore's Brain and the Democratic Party could one take an objective look at the society today and see the emailers as the ones most like brownshirts."

Jonah is being -way- kinder than I am. What, in fact, -distinguishes- them from being brownshirts?

And Michael Moore types talk about what "fascism looks like when it's being born"? Well, TAKE A LOOK!

Cause who here thinks that it's just a coincidence that a wild-eyed, frothing at the mouth political demagogue has just decried his political enemies as fascists on the SAME DAY that an activist group of that same party SENDS VIOLENT CONVICTED CRIMINALS TO YOUR HOUSE TO "REGISTER" YOU AND "CONVINCE" YOU OF WHO TO VOTE FOR?

archy, I have always deferred to you on whether or not a post should get a Civil War II ping, but on this one, I -beg- you.
