Yeah, I read it recently. I think Nancy's mother's last name or something was Prescott. I'll go look it up.

Well, Nancy's mom's last name was originally Luckett, then Robbins then Davis, so that's not it. Someone in the family had the Prescott name, though. Still looking. :)

Thanks. That's as far as I've gotten. I know Reagan spent a lot of time in Arizona, so I've wondered if the connection was there.

And certainly Bush's grandfather comes to mind. That would be interesting, wouldn't it?

I still think Ron is gay but he's in denial. That's probably why he got so defensive.

On another note, I thought his eulogy at the funeral sucked. He only had ten years to prepare and that was the best that he could come up with? And he had to take a swipe at Bush to boot?

Well, I have searched the net far and wid for as much as I know how and can't find anything about why his middle name is Prescott. I know it was mentioned the week of the funeral but I'm not finding anymore.

The original capital of AZ was Prescott but I doubt that's it, LOL!

You might be the only person alive who can remember an episode of the Ron Reagan show.

Actually I remember NOTHING of the other episodes even though I do remember seeing them. HOWEVER, this one episode really stuck in my mind after all these years. Ron dropped his usual hip, cool, detached shtick and went into FULL PANIC mode screeching at the gay guy accusing him of being gay. It was a GREAT TV moment so it stuck in my mind. I think that was either the last broadcast of the Ron Reagan show or almost the last episode.

Anyway, since the Democrats are sure to trot out Ron in the forthcoming election blabbering (as he did yesterday) about Republicans being "homophobic" then this INCREDIBLE video of Ron screeching on TV in a HOMOPHOBIC panic mode would be interesting to see. PLUS it was VERY ENTERTAINING. If I find out Sean Hannity will run the video clip, I would definitely pop up some popcorn to munch on while laughing at the onscreen images of Ron going completely over the edge.

"I don't understand why he's qualified to comment on prisoner abuse in Iraq."

Because every liberal out there is ready to sit down and let him talk. Like I said, he is irrevelent.

"And let's be clear, being a ballet dancer doesn't make a guy gay."

Why would the thought ever cross your mind. However, a man in a pink suit, ballet, truck driver or attorney, would make you think twice.

I don't know, some people are afraid of gays. Like people who think you can contract aids by just touching someone with the disease...Some people are scared of what gays could do to this world...like turn everyone gay...but I mean, this is pretty outlandish, isn't it?

I don't think he was afraid of being gay, but angry because everyone had been calling him gay for the last...oh his lifespan...that might get a bit frustrating.

Ron is gay as hell!! Watching him co-host on MSNBC the past few days has CONVINVED me he is flaming. Just because he is married means nothing. There are tons of convenience couples around nowadays(especially in CA). He is afraid of being outed. Lets see, he acts gay, speaks gayish and is a ballet dancer??!!! Oh no, he isn't gay. GAY GAY GAY GAY!!! He is gayer than big gay al!!
