She should do a real tell-all on every national tv show she can get booked on. That would be a great campaign commercial for the DNC.
monica --- you were a slut then, you are on now. Expect to be always seen as such.
If you want to change, you could do what felons do - go to the high schools and show what happens to people who have the morals of a slug - like you and clinton do. Maybe you can save the life of some children?
But, you probably don't care - peple like you and bill think of nobody or anything beyond your physical senses.
...but she blew it.
So this chic is finally getting the message that she was just utilized for her "skills". I wounder if she will ever figure out that she will be "stained" for life? Sad, but she had it coming.
The toon was impeached for lying in the Pala Jones grand jury hearing, not because he was messing around with a young girl.
If only she would get mad enough to tell whether there was any 'coaching' from the Sink Emperor's team during the course of 1998.
Linda Tripp saved your life with the tapes and getting you to keep the dress. And what did Linda Tripp get in return for helping you? She lost her job, was mocked nationally for years, was indicted on criminal charges, had her personal files illegally released and had to take the government to court over it, ran up hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills, and was out of work for years. No book deals, no purse sales, no "spokesmodel" deals, just grinding debt and national scorn for trying to save your huge behind from mistakes you made, not Linda.
Monica, sit down and shut up, you skank.
Monica Lewinski "feels betrayed"!?
What about the rest of America, which actually was?
I'm glad to see Monica coming out and reminding Clinton and his adoring fans how much Clinton had and still is objectifying her. The sad realization is that if Clinton were a Republican N.O.W. would be fully supporting Monica. But where is N.O.W. when a woman is publically used and disguarded by a prominent Demoncrat.
I've always felt sorry for this star-struck, overweight, vulnerable young woman.
The book, which weighs in at more than 950 pages, is sloppy, self-indulgent and often eye-crossingly dull the sound of one man prattling away, not for the reader, but for himself and some distant recording angel of history.
In many ways, the book is a mirror of Mr. Clinton's presidency: lack of discipline leading to squandered opportunities; high expectations, undermined by self-indulgence and scattered concentration. But the very lack of focus and order that mars these pages also prevented him from summoning his energies in a sustained manner to bring his insights about the growing terror threat and an Israeli-Palestinian settlement to fruition.
"My Life" has little of classic's unsparing candor or historical perspective. Instead, it devolves into a hodgepodge of jottings: part policy primer, part 12-step confessional, part stump speech and part presidential archive, all, it seems, hurriedly written and even more hurriedly edited.
Poor girl - she was under the delusion he loved her and would give up his wife for her. Monica found out what every kept woman has known since the beginning of time - she was expendable. Not that Clinton cared for anything other than what she could do for him and I don't think he even bothered to remember her name between encounters. He wasn't boyfriend material. After all those years she's finally waking up to whom her White House lover really is even though that's hardly been news to most of us in the know for the past six years.
I fail to understand why everyone is piling on Monica here. OK, so she's an idiot. But right now, at this moment in time, she could prove to be a very useful idiot. Monica, I want you to know that I appreciate your patriotism in remaining silent during the time when Clinton was trashing you in order to protect the presidency. That was a big thing you did there. Now that the presidency is no longer at stake and Mr. Clinton is defending only his own behavior, he could do better than to label you an "inappropriate encounter." Perhaps in hindsight you realize that the relationship was not as reciprocal as you might have thought at the time, but he is either an ice-cold manipulator of women or there was more to this than he would have us believe. It might have been better had the whole thing been allowed to drift quietly into the past. But since he has brought this back into the spotlight with his book, you have every right to have your own views heard as to the nature of this "inappropriate encounter." It is unlikely that those events will ever be in the news again, so this is probably your last chance to clear your name. He is not defending "the presidency" this time, it is merely Bill Clinton, private citizen, wiping the floor with you once again. It shouldn't be this way. |
Interesting times these and those too..
