Dip 'em in lard and fire away!

Why not just contract them to provide unmarked rounds?
I can see why they don't want brass laying around that is marked "made in Israel".

Use the Israel bullets and dip them in Armour Lard.

"There's a sensitivity [political correctness] that I think all of us recognize," Weldon told the Army witnesses I recognize that political correctness/sensitivity will be the undoing of the United States. The "feelings" of the Islamic world trumps ever other concerns, it appears. Sick.

But taken together with training needs, the United States had strained its production facilities, he testified. If Bush would repeal Klinton's executive edict banning the sale of surplus ammo to us peasants, then this problem would be fixed.

Since the Army has other stockpiled ammunition, "by no means, under any circumstances should a round (from Israel) be utilized," said Rep. Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii, This is STOOOOPID. Whatever ammunition is cheapest, easiest, or safest to get to the area, that is what they ought to use. Whether it was built in Israel, Japan, or the USA.

I can see why it would be bad for Iraqis to find Israelis bullets being shot from Americans, but pardon my ignorance, how is anyone going to know they are from Israel?
To: dd5339
Forget bullets. Let's just decapitate them with US-manufactured chainsaws.

I don't see wh they couldn't just leave that off, or use something suitably cryptic.

This is absurd. God help us if the Democrats ever get back the power they so crave.

Repeating my post to you on the locked thread.
Do you remember when late in the Clinton years we ran low on .45 ammunition and limited it's use in training? I recall seeing it everywhere in catalogs by the case. Must have been IMI, now I know why we couldn't use it. :<(. Whoever dreamed up this policy should be out of a job.
