The only infidelity here seemed to be on the part of Mrs. Ryan.
Society makes provision when couples find they can't work out their differences and split up. In an ideal world, every one would stay happily married together. Life doesn't always work out that way.
You're obviously of the opinion that she is telling the truth! Let's look at the facts:
1. She admits infidelity
2. There is a bitter custody battle.
3. She claims this behavior happened...he vehemently denies it.
4. She is with her elitist Hollywood freaks everyday and he is teaching in an urban school.
Hmmmmm, I think I smell a lie and it's coming from the west! Of course, if she admits now it wasn't true, she gets arrested for perjury. Ask Martha if it's good to perjure yourself.
No doubt this guy is toast unless she comes forward and admits that she lied. Shame, I believe him when he says he didn't do this. Your observation is the most obvious defense.
That's nonsense. A three year's morality. Not an adult's. An animals. Do you bark and p^ss on trees too?
But then, she said, he took her to Paris and again took her to a sex club. She said she cried and became physically ill at the club, and her husband got angry with her. She said she could never get over that incident.
Does anyone else find these comments odd, coming as they do from an individual who did the soft porn photos documented in this post?
Michigan College Republicans Convention, 1996. Joe Louis Arena. An epicly good time that will remain undescribed since this is a family site.
In other words, a sex club.
No man who respects his wife would bring her to such a place.
No man of character would bring his wife to such a place.
No decent father would go to such a place.
No responsible public servant, knowing that he is representing his electorate, would go to such a place.
If a man can't respect his own family, I have no vote for him.
I guess beautiful women must be covered up? Then again very few on FR insist sex must be like in the old days, modest, prim and proper. We're more relaxed now, except when we perceive someone is deficient in character.
You asked me whether the behavior described here was more than a little kinky. We weren't talking morality or ethics. Moving the goalposts is not a legitimate debating tactic.
That's nonsense. A three year's morality. Not an adult's. An animals. Do you bark and p^ss on trees too?
What are you talking about? The allegations in the divorce records, even if completely true, prove nothing other than that this guy was into public sex with his wife. Big deal.
I wouldn't bring my wife to such a place nor would I ask for public sex with her in front of strangers. There are some things I won't do lest it bring my character and good judgment into question.
The Moulon Rouge could be described in this way....Until you walk in the door and see the outrageous behavior inside, you may think it couldn't be so bad. We, however, over the past few years all too well understand the baseness of the French.
Maybe he, and we, should have known better.
I'm sure her divorce lawyer helped her "sex up" the report, as it were.
I mean, come on, she's a Hollywood actress. Would she really be so shocked in a risque nightclub that she became physically ill? I've been to regular nightclubs in LA and Las Vegas where the behavior of the patrons is way more naughty than what is described here.
I could say I wasn't doing the slapping, but that probably wouldn't shake your prurient interpretation one whit.
Shame on you! (I think)
(*SLAP*)
;^)
And what if she were the instigator? What if it was just a whim? He said they both were turned off by it.
I just don't see the sexual side as being character - derived, unless you are talking about pedophilia and the like. I certainly don't place this in that category.
What sexual behaviors are practiced by men of character, versus not being men of character? So here's this actress saying all of this in a divorce. Hollywood is not known for being fully honest, and sexually straight and narrow.
BTW - thank you for not being insulting in your posts. Perhaps others here can learn from your manners.
Whatever happened to honor?
Whatever happened to dignity?
"Other people do it, so it's OK for me to do it" is the definition of moral infantilism.
It is?
Like perhaps many people, I have the notion it is a 'glam'/edgy nighclub.
As could Las Vegas casino shows. And yet, millions of Americans go to them every year. I wonder how many of those people are now hypocritically condemning Ryan?
To her credit, she has recanted. People say things in the heat of an argument they don't really mean. We should all watch our language, since the wrong words can damage the people we love and respect most and look up to. The problem is the media won't focus on her recantation. And I don't like the way her husband is being hounded by the press. We certainly should be held accountable for a lapse of judgment but we shouldn't be held up to a standard no one can live up to.
There's a burlesque floor show involving nudity, some risque jokes etc. It's about as offensive and deviant as an R-rated movie.
