GG was the "punkest" thing going at the time compared to what else was out there. Sure he was psycho; but it was refreshing to have a little bit of real danger lurking around in the so-called scene back then. I mean when bands like Gwar and Pearl Jam were seen as "underground" it was time for someone to shake things up but good.
But alas, I am an old fogey now. Can't believe I ever actually liked the guy in retrospect.
