And the human race is much better off without him.
He's in the past. Assumed room temperature. Tango Uniform.
Still, drive a stake through him.
Al Queda doesn't usually admit a leader is dead unless they are. That way they can call them a martyr. It's not their style to pretend someone is dead when they aren't. It looks like the guy has really been toasted. And good riddance.
Reuters doesn't seem to have any problem with this news. It could be because the Saudis have the corpse.
Not a sermon. Just a thought! :-)
Seems like somebody jumped the gun as far as saying "they killed the ones who claimed responsibility", I never heard anyone had claimed responsibility until these guys were dead.
It is hard to get news from over there though, maybe I missed it.
Well, there's another cowchip fueling Hell's fires.
Is the Pope Catholic?
This is the best news I have heard all day. There is a new resident in the lowest circle of hell.
Believe it or not there's an honest debate going on about that now.
Why were al-Muqrin's hands tied if he died in an ambush?
Stinks to high heaven, if you ask me -- though I'd be hard pressed to tell you which part is a lie. All of this has tumbled out of the kingdom as an incomprehensible mess. (Cahootery. Nice word. I intend to steal it).
Then again, Reuters is getting this story off a website, and we all know how unreliable the Internet is for news, since it is precisely outfits like Reuters that tell us so.
So who knows what the truth is? Certainly not UPI or Reuters, and AP is probably too busy making up lies about the Bush administration to bother making up lies about this.
And people pay money for these services. P.T. Barnum, eat your heart out!
From AP:
"Al-Moqrin, known as a smart and brutal tactician, was the most-wanted militant in Saudi Arabia. His attacks in recent months have shown tactical flexibility devastating car bombs as well as pinpointed strikes like the kidnapping of Johnson, a first in the kingdom."
An absolutely evil terrorist just bit the dust, as well as his second-in-command. As well, looks like the US military went after Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in Fallujah today, killing at least 16 people at his suspected hideout. With any luck, it could be a triple score.
Sounds all too convenient to me... Saudi couldn't rescue Johnson, but hours after the photos of his beheading are released, they find Muqrin and his buddies, and kill them... al Qaeda first denies he was killed, now they are saying he was... I think he is still alive, but since it's "official" he is dead, the heat will now be taken off of Muqrin and the House of Saud at the same time...
Look for this to happen a lot more in the near future... The House of Saud lets these guys do what they want, claims to be victims too... "We are doing everything we possibly can to save the hostage(s)!".... hostages killed, HoS cries foul, finds the "murderers", kills them... "See!!! We are on your side!"... it's all a bunch of crap.
I suppose the same thing happened to Paul Johnson; his neck just happened to be there when they drew the knife, eh?
Bury them in lard... Pig fat for the uneducated...
