shhhh.........you're not supposed to bring that up.......
I wondered how long it would take Berg to surface. Dang he even surprises me a little, I figured them for tomorrow, giving it at least 24 hours.
Can't let that Friday late news edition go by unused I guess.
Prairie
Pathetic that the elder Berg would use his son's death to obtain his 15 minutes of fame.
Why Mr. Johnson, your son Nick and Al Quaeda could be playing a nice and friendly game of 'Texas Hold-em' right now, if only the Bush Administration understood that.
"What about the hundreds of thousands Hussein killed?"
Oh, no. We all know he was a "bad guy," right?
However, to his great credit, he never put ladies' underwear on someone's head.
Never mind whether the head was still attached to the body or not.
/sarcasm.
(sorry, I'm feeling really mad tonight.
Another day, another American beheaded, I guess.)
One more possibility...perhaps Mr. Berg did not want Mr. Johnson's family thinking that their son's fate would necessarily be the same as his son? I'm sure the Johnson's were thinking that already, in some fashion, but maybe Mr. Berg didn't want to pile on.
and the 11,000-plus innocent Iraqi victims.
***
Wrong!
Recent Iraq national morgue count of Iraqi dead was 5,500-and most of those were bad guys.
No need to apologize, I think we are all pretty angry and shaken up by this.
Is Berg implicitly admitting to a link between Iraq and Al-Qaeda?
Do you think this guy will be invited to speak at the Democratic Convention?
"HE WAS BEHEADED BY AlQaeda in SAUDI ARABIA !!!"
You are so right. The elder Berg is a complete IDIOT!
Do us all a favor and stay out of it
He hates GW more than the guys that slit his son's throat. I take that back. He probably doesn't hate the guys that slit his son's throat at all. Afterall, they were driven to it by the evil GW.
bttt
Iraq, Saudi Arabia--it makes no difference to these America haters. He could probably tie the beheading of this 63 year old Buddhist in Thailand to GW, America, and let us not forget the world's favorite whipping boys--The Jooz.

Silent my @$$!!! It's time to stop rooting for the enemy. I cannot understand any parent who would praise their own child's murderers. Argh!!!
Maybe he didn't want the topic of conversation to turn to the contributions he's made to the terrorists with his public support. His son being killed was his ticket to fame. It allowed him to garner the most publicity he's had in his career as a terrorist supporter. Maybe he felt he should stand back, and allow Paul Johnson's family a shot at fame. I'm not saying they'd want it, I'm just saying maybe Berg assumes everyone wants to have their 15 minutes of fame to bash the United States, and as a professional courtesy, he shut his mouth for a few minutes to allow Johnson's family to spout off. Since they haven't (they haven't, have they?) Berg decided it was time for him to step back up to the mic. Just a theory, but I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.
"I think we are all pretty angry and shaken up by this."
Thanks... that's very true. :)
This may be a bit out of place in the circumstances, but good night and have a good weekend, everyone.
I'll pray for this poor man and his family, like we all will.
"Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah." Means about the same thing to me coming from him.
