Normally, I agree. However TN has no state income tax and did not make the list.

New here, Marion Man. What does it mean to "ping"?

In this case, anytime a thread is posted that is of interest to people in SC, I post a "SC Ping" to everyone on my SC Ping list. The "ping" will show up when you view "New Posts to you" or "My comments".
If you want to be on the SC ping list, just click on Private Reply (known as FReepMail) below and tell me you want to be on the list. If you later decide that you don't want to be on the list, just let me know and I will remove you.
Free Republic also has a local bulletin board for each state. Ours can be found here. If you set your locale to SC, you can be notified when new messages are posted.
