Speaking of the lovely Laura... Family Circle is running their election year poll for the best cookies by the wife of the candidates for President.
VOTE FOR LAURA!
Laura = Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Ketchup Lady = Pumpkin Spice w/raisins [Blech, this one should be easy.]
[My ping list is incomplete, so some of you may want to re-ping others to this "poll"]

The Sea Hag's cookies look like something I have to clean up after leaving my Dogs alone in the house for too long

It sounds like you had quite the afternoon. I am so envious of all you people who have met the President and/or the First Lady.
So how did you catch his attention for him to wink at you? That just shows you how comfortable he is with people if he lets them get so close by putting their hand on his stomach. So spill the beens....is he ripped? Does he have a six pack under all that kevlar?
Your conversation seems like it lasted a good few minutes. I'm so glad you were able to talk to him. Can't wait for the pictures. I bet you have some good ones.

On Crossfire yesterday, they did an audience poll and Laura's cookies beat out Theresa's. No contest.
Laura's cookies actually sound really good. I love oatmeal cookies. Never been a big fan of pumpkin.

That's what I wanted to know, but I was too shy to ask! Thanks for asking for all of us!

Sorry you were in the hospital. Are you all well now?
That hospital was not my favorite place to work to be honest.
I had never worked at a for-profit hospital before working there and they do things much differently than non-profit hospitals.
I have been a paramedic for 22 years, but for the most part I worked two jobs. One on the streets and one at a hospital.
There are lots of horse ranches around my area. I don't know what they do there.
Hopefully you can find something you like soon.
What do you do with the horses?
