OMG! What's a sensitive white liberal to do?Oy, that's easy! He'll blame their misguided foray into "homophobia" on their horrible treatment at the hands of imperialist White Europeans.
You don't think these folks are restrained by logic, do you?

Since they are a sovereign nation can the Supreme Court use this rejection when ruling? After all, the Supremes are using foreign law now instead of the Constitution. The ACLU can't touch them, either, right?
They're "diverse," so the ACLU won't touch them. They only mess with white people.

Yep. They thought they could use the Cherokee Nation to further their agenda. Sounds like they found out that the leftist vision of the pseudo-human Indian is incorrect.
The instigator seems to be a newspaper photographer, Cherokee himself, and gay. He ran for Chief of the tribe, and I believe he may have been a councilman having since lost his seat. I don't remember his name right off the top of my head though. He's evidently friends with the lesbians and being at odds with the tribe, I'm assuming over his loss in running for office, tried to push the homosexual agenda on the tribe. He's a leftist and evidently views the rest of his own tribe as backward and thought he could push this on them, not so much as progression, but as revenge and to push the leftist agenda in general. That was my take anyway.

The tribal council voted 15-0 Monday night to enact a ban against same-sex marriages.

Kathy Reynolds and partner Dawn McKinley said they would continue their fight through the courts after being rebuffed by the tribal court Tuesday, the Oklahoman reported. What courts are they talking about? The ICC? The Cherokee Nation is a sovereign nation.

This is definitely good news. It grieves my heart to continue reading just how confused and delusional homosexuals are. They can thank the major media outlets and homosexual enablers and sympathizers for some of their confusion.
The truth is, homosexuals can leave their lifestyle. It would help if the major media outlets would broadcast this truth.

A gay woman I know once told me that the only difference between a lesbian and an elephant is 20 pounds and a flannel shirt. I think was being generous on the weight side.

Since they are a sovereign nation can the Supreme Court use this rejection when ruling? Great question - BTW, they get federal dollars and teach their religion in their schools as well. Go figure ...
