Correct to an extent. About 1/3 of the electorate would vote for the proverbial yellow dog if he ran on the Democrat line. For Kerry to win, he needs to get over 50%. If he does that, it's because the media can persuade another 1/6 of the electorate that Bush is a monster of evil and incompetence who must be thrown out of office. They still wouldn't like Kerry but they might hold their noses and vote for him.

It's obvious that the press's negative campaigning against Bush works better than their efforts to make Kerry look good. Kerry is such a clown that the more you see of him the less you like him, no matter how many rose-colored filters the photographers use. But the negative campaigning may stick, little by little, with uninformed voters. Some viewers will turn away from the alphabet news with disgust, as the ratings show. But others will be affected by them without fully understanding what has happened. It's the same process as advertising; although few people like ads, they still are proven to work.

Which I am sorry to say, includes GWB, and ESPECIALLY includes Karl Rove, who I believe most of the political miscues and maladroitness can be attributed to. The Mexican border scam, the Muslim Immigration Scam, the Saudi-Regime patty-cake scam, and then, so far anyways, ignoring the Syrian/Iranian complicity in post-Saddam Iraqi-destabilization...as well as the WMD-'Keep-away' game.

And the silence from the White House is deafening. Where the hell did the "Axis" of Evil go, for Pete's sakes? This Administration's silence and refusal to finish..or at least get on with... prosecuting the 'War' on Terror only lends pseudo-credence to the extremist nonsense coming out of the Communist-controlled American media.

And then it doesn't help that GWB plays kissy-face with the XLINTONS!!!! He is revolting...and roiling the base so foolishly...and so unnecessarily...that it will literally be a miracle to keep this Administration alive going into November. This was a HUGE miscalculation of drastic proportions. The RATs can be as diabolically seditionista partisan as they choose to be, while W continues to turn the other cheek...and then cast pearls before these swine. And then he mysteriously wonders why the RATs turn and rend him.
