Do these bonehead protesters think that real Americans are going to give them any sympathy?They should have all ben checked for proper papers.The nerve of them is unreal.

I remember several years ago the LA Times had a story on a caucasian illegal alien from England, with a picture of him sitting next to several Mexican day workers. He was found and deported within a couple days, but not the Mexicans.

The only problem with this "sweep" plan is that it wasn't initiated sooner and it isn't extensive enough.

I saw this on the news last night (KTTV). All the signs in Spanish; most of the crowd were probably illegals themselves.

This is how low the current administration and its predecessors have let our country sink by not enforcing the laws. Illegal aliens now stage demonstrations on our streets. Think about that: foreign nationals, in the country illegal, arrogate to themselves the right to create near riot conditions on our streets, protesting the legitimate enforcement of the laws. And the Federal government, charged with enforcing those laws....does nothing.

Wendy Canales, a U.S. citizen born in Honduras, said she turned out to voice support for illegal immigrants arriving from around the world.

"We're out here to fight for our people," Canales said. "Not just Latinos, but anybody who's here illegally. Whether they're from Mexico, Central America or the Caribbean
"OUR PEOPLE", then I guess your citizenship needs to be revoked and you deported. Reason: Failure to recognize or have any other loyalty but to the U.S. and her citizens.

I've read the propaganda literature, Abel. They're targeting the "Latino community" because they're all racists. You don't have to take it, Abel. Canada wants the Latino community. To hell with the racist gringos. Take your considerable assets and head north. Viva la raza!

It probably took 4 agents 10 minutes to arrest 160 and look at the outrage and backlash.

The Department of Homeland Security that the Border Patrol is now part of is inexperienced at what happens when you actually enforce immigration law.

Those of us who follow the ongoing immigration follies could have predicted this.

It will be interesting to watch what DHS does now after having a taste of it.
