It is a really nice red petaled rose, with a white reverse on the backside of the petal. Really nice looking!! It is a rose from Jackson Perkins. Nancy is a peachy apricot color. I found them at my local nursery that sells J & P roses. I want to make a bed for them with a flag pole in the middle.

Did anybody else read the article on the guy who painted Slick's portrait (unveiling next week!)?

He sometimes paints only from photos, but once he's actually met his subject (as he has Clinton) all he needs is "one good exposure"....

My Mother just move to Utah, I think I'll go to the nursery & try to find them for a house warming gift. I already bought her the Dolly Parton roses. If you haven't seen them they are so lovely. Biggest blossoms you've ever seen. No pun intended. LOL

Do the blossoms come in pairs, like seven sisters blossoms come in clusters of seven?

like seven sisters blossoms come in clusters of seven?Well, I just don't know. But the blooms are enormous & a lovely coral red color. Some of the prettiest roses I've ever seen.

I will probably at some point add Barbara Bush to the collection as well!! She is pink. Hopefully there will be a Laura Bush soon. She and I share a birthday, so that would be a must have!! BTW, isn't today George HW's b-day?? If it is, he shares his b-day with my mother!! Goofy, huh?? HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!

Well I guess I'm rose ignorant. I didn't know there was a Barbara Bush rose either. Yes indeed it is HW's B-day. Tomorrow I believe he wil be jumping from a plane for charity again. He's 80 years this year. I'm sure Barbara isn't too happy about that jump! Probably his last I think.

No commemorative Plates. When I get one with Reagan on it I will place it under my lucky horse shoe above my door.
