I wouldn't be suprised if Rush was back on the white man's crack now that his wife is gone.

Rush has had many good years and many bad ones ... the past year has been a tough one. Bottom line, in spite of his many faults Rush is the best spokesman for the conservative cause, without question. He leaves Hannity in the dust when it comes to articulating various issues ... his analytical and insightful commentary drives the liberal media off the deep end. Rush is a national treasure.

It's curious, Rush used to mention his wife often. But, since late last year he really hasn't mentioned her at all. He used to talk about her brilliant inputs, or what she was reading, or how worried she would get if she had to take one of their cats to the vet, and how hard it was to put Bonnie Blue to sleep because she was so terribly ill.

He'd talk about going to Las Vegas, or trips, etc.

But, this week he said something that perked my ears, when he said he has no one to talk to at home except for his cat Pumpkin, and she can't talk back.

And, he has been saying that he is home all by himself bothering no one at all, just minding his own business.

I'm saddened by their separation. Lasting love is hard to find. And, even harder to keep.

I hope their separation was not caused by the hostility of an out-of-control State Attorney's political witch hunt against Rush Limbaugh and all the stresses that bears upon a marriage. Even a strong happy marriage could possibly be dented from such an unwarranted and unjustified government attack.

We all know the pressure being married to the world's top talk show host, especially one that creates such passionate hate from the left, must not be an easy road to walk.

I wish them both well, and hopefully, each will find a way back to each other's arms.

Rush often talked about writing a book on the first half of his life, "The Front Nine" but, I'm thinking the chapters to the second half of his life have not been so very easy lately.

It is sad. I feel badly for Rush and will remember him in my prayers.

Rush's claim to be a perfect role model for the 'yout' of America takes another hit.

Here is my two cents. I have felt from the start that Mrs. Rush was a gold digger from the start.

I first listened to him back in 1990. The more I listened to him the more dismayed I became that his was the "voice of mainstream conservatism."

When the libs started calling him ultraconservative I thought a)this country is worse off than I thought and b) if he's a conservative then I'm a hottentot.

3 marriages, 3 divorces.

Now tell me how any person who finds this acceptable can be an advocate for "traditional marriages"?

Didn't know this until just now Rush said it.

Rush just said that the divorce is at his request, not Marta's. So everyone who has been bashing Marta for not standing by him can relax now.

Rush said at the beginning of his show today that HE is the one requesting the divorce and that Marta agreed to it, and that the divorce is "amicable".

Reminds me of this one from the July 2004 Reader's Digest, page 131 submitted by Marsha Schauer:

A woman goes to the drugstore and asks for arsenic. "What do you want that for?" the pharmacist asks.

"I want to kill my husband," she replies. "He's having an affair with another woman." "I can't sell you arsenic to kill your husband," says the pharmacist, "even if he is cheating."

The woman pulls out a picture of her husband with the pharmacist's wife. The druggist turns pale and replies, "Oh, I didn't realize you had a prescription."

;-D

Well the old saying (for a woman) goes when you change your hair you're changing your man. In Rush's case, the recent pic with Gorbachev indicated a trim, well put together man. Maybe for man the old saying goes when you change your physical condition you're changing your woman.
