Thanks...little nephews and neices are a blessing 'cuz you get to see them grow up and have fun playing with them, but ultimately you get to send them back home with their parents...LOL!! Very similar to grandkids in some respects...MUD
Thought y'all might wanna know. Pretty soon (I think the first of August), All of the talk stuff on 990AM (Hannity included) will be on 1480AM, same schedule. I got this from my buddy Scott, who does "Your Wakeup Call" on 990AM Wednesday nights.
Congrats on the new addition to the family!!!!!

Hopefully, we'll be able to pick it up here in Powhatan. 990 am doesn't tune in well. It's all snap, crackle and pop.

BTW...when did Schwarzeneggar call the California congresscritters "girley-men"?! I think I beat him to the punch...MUD
Deal.....
And I'll let you know if I can convince hubby to to take the trip to Norfolk......I will not do the drive across the bridge/tunnel unless someone else is driving..the bridge doesn't bother me, I can't handle the tunels.
I think I know how I can work a deal with him on it. pony penning is Wednesday and my plan was to go over to Chincoteague Wednesday to see it, and then go back on Friday to watch them swim back.........hubby thought I was only talking about going Friday......I'll trade him Tuesday in Norfolk for Wednesday in Chincoteague.......he just might bite!!!
LOL! Good idea. Tuesday for the HorseFace, Wednesday for the Ponies.
As I recall from previous camping adventures on Assateague those horse flies have a wicked bite.
Horse flies and mosquitos are the regional birds of the entire DelMarVA penninsula...not just Assateague. I speak from the experience of 22 years of encounters with them! LOL!
I'm willing to give up the ponies on Wednesday for Horse Face on Tuesday.......will still stick with the plan of ponies on Friday.
I've alerted Hampton Roads PWs! We are there. We just need a time and a place.
!!!!!!!!!
Great! We're getting a road trip together up here.
OK that's it.............I will pull out all stops to convince hubby about Tuesday.....even if it means the fire engine red negligie when the yung'un gets put to bed tonight (wink wink)!!!!!!!
Love the Eastern Shore. We used to have a house in Chincoteague. Got it from a buddy of mine that used to work at Wallops Island. He traded me for a house I inherited from my Dad out in Pasadena, CA (he got transferred to NASA JPL). Really sweet deal.
The Chincoteague place got to become a real maintenance headache, and when we moved fron Hampton to Richmond also got to be too far away to go to do that maintenance. We sold it and bought a house in Emerald Isle, NC instead. I used to be able to get a couple thousand $ during Pony Penning week, but not much the rest of the year. I can almost rent the NC place year round. A lot better deal financially.
