I know for a fact that we have an entire fleet of stealth ships in the Navy. Here's a photo if you don't believe me.

If you look closely, you'll notice a paint chipper in my hand. All your hard work was for naught ;0)

And I'm in the submarine sitting underneath your "target".

But I was still able to bogart enough of that "Stealth" paint for my SUV.
See it in this pic?

It's on the right.
And, yes. That's me cruising with Anna Kornikova.

Stealthy ships are nothing new. The British FF-23 (Duke), American DDG-51 (Arleigh Burke), the German MEKO designs, and French La Fayette are older stealthy ships. In fact, if you go over to Naval-Technology.com you will see a slew of new stealthy designs.
Stealth reduces the risk of being seen by enemy ships, planes, and anti-ship missles!
As for the BBC article, there are some errors.
Anyone else catch the summary of the DD-21, in which it is claimed that the DD-21 will replance the Burkes? Oops. The DD-21 will replace the Spruance Class Destroyers and (foolishly) many of our OH Perry frigates.
I am also taken back that the Norwegen Skjold class patrol boats are not mentioned. Ron
PS. I work with NT 4, and NT 2000. Anyone else concerned about ships being run on this?
