I was trying to read her lips when she was talking by the coffin. I thought I saw, "I love you, Ronny."

LOL. Yes, I agree, correcting would have only drawn attention to him. Besides, I'm sure it isn't noticable on the floor, it only shows up in the overhead shots. I saw it right away, too. Thought at first it was perhaps just the camera angle but decided not.

Marylyn Quayle really was losing it.
I know I'd be like that myself if I were there

Born in the 40's. TV is 24 hours ... and has been for a long, long, long time. Maybe it's a geographic thing. I'm in L.A. :)

Back in the olden days in the 1960s...when they only had UHF and VHF....everynight they would go off the air at midnight or so......I was a wee pup...I remember those days well........:-) Yep, thet had to shut down for almost nightly maintenance and let those giant 5 foot tall transmitter tubes cool down. Then they would sign back on about 5 AM with the ubiquitous Indian Chief test pattern and later the color adjustment bars so's you could adjust your color teevee to NTSC (Never The Same Color) standards, ad long as you could figger out what the hell "magenta" and "cyan" were.

Now that I don't remember. I don't think Patti ever married or had kids.

Now comes Brian Mulroney and Margaret Thatcher (if mine eyes do not deceive me), and O'Really bloviates on.
Now the Quayles hug and cry and move on and here comes Ed Schultz, bowing so achingly.
FOXNEWS Sucks at this moment.
Al Haig now, making the Sign of the Cross with his wife and moving on.
And the dear dear Peggy Noonan with a sign of the cross and a sweet salute...
FOXNEWS...no, back to Blovius Maximus...

O'Reilly's show following this event is an abomination. This is NOT Fox's finest hour, and his guests are ridiculous.

The next generation is what it is all about. And no, I don't mean it as "it's fer the chillun" The WWII folks will always be The Greatest Generation, but I think we X-ers and our kids are going to really be something when it's all said and done.
